The Territory Wildlife Park is a wildlife park with a difference. Set at Berry Springs in the Darwin rural area, the Park covers an impressive 400 hectares. GETTING AROUND THE PARK AND ACCESSIBILITY Walking. The Territory Wildlife Park has an extensive system of walking tracks that are well sign posted. Many of the exhibits are located quite closely together, so it is an easy walk between many ofthem.

The Osprey is a medium-sized, fish-eating raptor (bird of prey) with dark brown upper parts and white under parts. Behaviour. The Territory Wildlife Park is divided into three distinct habitats: Wetland. Wetland areas on the Park include creeks, springs and lagoons. During the wet season monsoonal rains flood rivers andcreeks.

We welcome all groups big and small and we suggest a 4 hour visit time to make the most of your visit. There are three main walking tracks, which we highly recommend AQUARIUM - TERRITORY WILDLIFE PARK The tunnel immerses you in a fresh water aquarium and is one of the Parks most popular and "soothing" attractions. Beyond the tunnel, get nose to nose with a 4 metre saltwater crocodile. See how effortlessly this "hunter in hiding" floats semi-submerged. The photographic opportunities are outstanding. PARK HABITATS
Woodland. Woodland is the most abundant habitat in the Top End of the Northern Territory. Easily distinguished by dominating Eucalyptus trees and an often grassy understorey, these areas exist where water becomes scarce during the Dry. Relying heavily on adaptations to save water, woodland vegetation can be waxy and fine, long and thin evenspiky.

The Territory Wildlife Park is a 45-minute drive south of Darwin to Berry Springs. If you are driving yourself, head south from Darwin on the Stuart Highway. Travel about 50km and turn right onto the Cox Peninsula Road. The Park is about 12 km along Cox Peninsula Road on your right. It is well sign posted all the way and is immediately next door to the Berry Springs Nature Park.ETHICAL ADVENTURES

Getting around
The Territory Wildlife Park has around 6km of easy to moderate walking tracks. Visitors will get to truly experience the different habitats when you follow the walking tracks. Alternatively the Park has courtesy shuttle trains that leave the Main Station on the hour and at half past the hour. These assist visitors moving between the major exhibits. A Park Guide provides informative commentary on the shuttle trains.PARK MAP
