EASY TRIFLE DESSERT
Instructions . Mix and bake angel food cake according to directions on box In a small bowl, whisk together instant pudding and milk until smooth and place in refrigerator to chill at least 10 minutes HOW TO FRAME EXISTING BATHROOM MIRRORS I chose the molding for the frames carefully. Molding has what’s called a ‘rabbit’, which is an indented space that holds the glass and picture, or whatever is being framed. CHERRY CRESCENT ROLL TURNOVERS Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Line baking pan with parchment paper. Unroll and separate the crescent rolls. Spoon about 2 Tbls. cherry pie filling near wide end of dough. {MORE THAN} 50 SHADES OF GRAY Each one has its charm. I love the ‘gray-ness’ of Mindful Gray.It is rich and pure. And Repose Gray is a grayed-down white, very bright and cheerful. Amazing Gray has long been one of my favorites for decorating jobs, with its bit of brown. And Worldly Gray is a cross between gray and beige almost a greige but still more gray than beige.. So now for my dilemma – which gray to choose?? DIY CHALK PAINT RECIPE Good Morning Y’all! When I posted this makeover on Monday, I promised the formula for my homemade chalk paint. I absolutely LOVE the results of my DIY Chalk Paint Recipe! It was incredibly easy to make, and went on so smoothly, it was just almost unbelievable that it was a homemade mixture. NEW BABY DOOR WREATH TUTORIAL To make the wreath, cut several pipe cleaners in half and twist at regular intervals on the wreath form. Affix one end of the wide mesh ribbon to the form with a pipe cleaner. Begin to make loops by gathering and ‘pinching in’ every 8-10 inches.Twist to the next precut pipe cleaner, and so on until you’ve gone all the way around the wreath. This should take up the whole 10 yard roll of EASY PEEL AND STICK STONE FIREPLACE SURROUND This is a project I’ve been wanting to ‘get around to’ for a very long time.. Speaking of that, have you ever seen a round ‘tuit’?I remember many years ago we were traveling somewhere and stopped at this little store, and by the cash register was a bowl full of little wooden discs. WICKER CHAIRS DIY REDO A while back, I found some dilapidated wicker chairs at a thrift store for $5 each. Since we had recently moved into our new home and neededlots
HOW TO CARE FOR COSTUME JEWELRY I do love the holder though, because keeping your costume jewelry separated and untangled is numero uno in taking care of it! When you have to pull and tug to get pieces untangled, it weakens them at the very least, and breaks them at most. HOW TO ANTIQUE A METAL LANTERN It was on clearance, and I love the tall graceful line of it. But the paint on it is just a flat brown, with no individual markings, and therefore, not much interest. I want to ‘antique’ it up!EASY TRIFLE DESSERT

Have you seen those gorgeous glass beaded trees? The ones like they have at Frontgate for $129.00 for the set of 3 (on sale from $179!). I wanted them SO badly! I love natural materials for decorating, but sometimes you just can’t beat glitz and glamour! I do love me somesparkle!!
HOW TO HANG BOTANICAL PRINTS To frame them, I didn’t use the hanging hardware that came with the frames, opting instead for sawtooth-type hangers. I found the midpoint of the back of the frame and marked it with a pencil, then centered the hanger and marked the holes also with a pencil. Then I nailed it on with the included tack nails, holding each little nail with a pair of needle-nosed pliers so I didn’t hit my fingers! HOW TO APPLY BEADBOARD WALLPAPER Just a plain ol’ painted half wall. The room was in desperate need of some architectural interest! The product that saved the day is beadboard wallpaper! Yes you heard me right- WALLPAPER, of all things. Yes, I previously swore off wallpaper, never to go there again. One word of caution: Another thing you need to do after you’ve installed the insulation is check the balance and spring tension on your door. Extra weight can put strain on the door opener motor and spring. Although the insulation is light, you may need to have the tension spring on the door adjusted, a job best left to garage door installation specialists.SONDRA LYN AT HOME
