PRAYERS IN RUTH
Prayers in Ruth One of the best ways to learn how to pray is by listening to the prayers of others. Children learn from the prayers of godly parents and older saints in the church. New believers are both encouraged and exhorted in prayer meetings with the fellowship of believers. All of us are continually instructed as we study the prayers recorded in Scripture. HOW TO CARE FOR YOUR PASTOR Care for your pastor. JESUS, HIS CRITICS AND HOW TO HANDLE CRITICISM Criticism can either be helpful or unhelpful. Criticism is unhelpful when it aims to attack the person and belittles them. Criticism is valuable when it seeks to help the person grow to be like Jesus. In this article from Luke 23:6-12, we will see Jesus interact with His critics on His way to the Cross by being quiet in His response to His criticism instead of responding to them.PRAYERS IN RUTH

Not long ago, DNA self-testing kits were all the rage. Our daughter received one as a gift and delighted in reporting to us what she’d learned about our family heritage. Other fads may have since surpassed the popularity of the kits, but the questions that motivated the sales remain. Who am I? Who are my people? And how does my DNA connect me to them or determine who I am? BIBLICAL COUNSELING: WHAT IS IT AND WHY IS IT IMPORTANT? Biblical counseling is a discipleship ministry of the church. FEARING GOD IS A MATTER OF THE HEART 11 hours ago · The Heart’s Inclinations The fear of God is not a state of mind you can guarantee with five easy steps. It is not something that can be acquired with simple self-effort. The fear of God is a matter of the heart. How easily we can mistake the reality of the fear of God for an outward and hollow show! As Martin Luther put it: “To fear God is not merely to fall upon your knees. WHAT IS DIVINE PROVIDENCE? Purposeful Action The term sovereignty does not contain the idea of purposeful action, but the term providence does. Sovereignty focuses on God’s right and power to do all that he wills, but in itself, it does not express any design or goal. Of course, God’s sovereignty is purposeful. It does have design. It does pursue a goal. But we know this, not simply because God is sovereign, butSPIRITUAL DNA
