LOW COST RABIES VACCINATION CLINIC RETURNS TO RHEA Low-cost rabies vaccinations are returning to Rhea County this weekend and continue into next week, according to event organizers. All dogs and cats over 3-months-old must be vaccinated against rabies. The vaccine is effective for one year and costs $10. The rabies vaccination schedule and locations are as follows: MARGARET A. FORMER DCS TEACHER FACING SEXUAL BATTERY CHARGES Former DCS teacher facing sexual battery charges. A former Dayton City School math teacher was indicted by the Rhea County Grand Jury on four counts of aggravated sexual battery and one count of rape of a child, according to court documents. Michael Scott Arnold, 48, was arrested April 7 after the grand jury returned the indictments.BILL WOODARD (66)

RICHARD LEE KINZALOW (84) Richard Lee Kinzalow, 84, of Dayton, died Tuesday, Nov. 24, 2020, at Parkridge Medical Center. He was born on Feb. 25, 1936, in Riceville, Tenn., the sixth child of Roy Martin Kinzalow and Nanny Mae Stephenson Kinzalow. He was a 1954 graduate of McMinn High School and attended Tennessee Polytechnic Institute, now Tennessee TechnologicalUniversity.
CLARENCE TAYLOR JUNIOR SUTTON (54) Clarence Taylor Junior Sutton, 54, born Dec. 7, 1966 left to be with our Heavenly Father on Monday, April 5, 2021. He enjoyed life to the fullest. According to Rhea County Narcotics Detective Mike Bice, he received a tip that James Howard Tallent, 37, and Michael Sims, 36, were cooking the illegal cocktail at Tallent's home.
