6 INDOOR GAMES TO GET KIDS MOVING! Kids playing outside during summer time is all fun and games.until the triple digits plague you! I have compiled a few indoor games that my kids love to play. They keep active without overheating in the hot Texas sun. These games would also be awesome to play during the winter when the frigid temperatures keep them cooped up. None of the games require a lot of the equipment. HOMESCHOOL SCIENCE ONLINE (REVIEW) It has been a few years since we have had an online subscription to the e-Science Homeschool Science Curriculum from Supercharged Science, but we've been using it as a supplement over the past few weeks and my kids have been learning a lot! This online resource can be used as a stand-alone homeschool science curriculum, or as a robust supplement for science-loving kids. MATH REFRESHER FOR ADULTS (BOOK REVIEW) My kids are getting older, and I can tell you now that I’m a little freaked out about helping them with their math questions. My latest review item, Math Refresher for Adults by Richard W. Fisher of Math Essentials came at a great time since my oldest is about to start 8th grade pre-algebra. It is a 270 page softcover workbook just for adults hoping to brush up on their math skills.A IS FOR AMBULANCE
Teaching preschoolers the alphabet can be a lot of fun! Here is a cute and simple printable to help with the letter A. There are no fancy supplies needed for this A is for Ambulance letter craft. Kids can even help with making it. For younger kids, go ahead and have the pieces all printed and traced and cut. Older children will enjoy helping with the cutting and decorating. MATH MAMMOTH BLUE SERIES REVIEW Math is one of those subjects that we all want to be sure our kids are excelling in and understanding the information. Math Mammoth has several individual math units in its Blue Series for students at a 1st-8th grade level. Good Girl Moonshine. The THM community sometimes calls it GGMS, and it's basically a sipper drink (meaning you can drink it any time) that contains ginger and apple cider vinegar. Many women replace soda with this! I had heard others mention a Hawaiian punch GGMS or fruit punch Good Girl 20 THINGS KIDS CAN MAKE AND SELL RIGHT NOW! Crochet Headbands – Quirky Inspired. Without even thinking about it, my kids are constantly quizzing each other on math facts, especially multiplication and division. After reviewing Mathletics from 3P Learning, an online math curriculum for grades K-12, I have been able to watch my older 2 kids blossom even more. If you've ever used Reading Eggs or Spellodrome, or IntoScience, LASER X EVOLUTION FOR LASER TAG AT HOME Set up is simple. The retail cost for Laser X Evolution is $29.97 and it is available exclusively from Walmart. With many people staying at home right now, I think this is an amazing alternative to going out to play laser tag at an arcade or entertainment center. You can still play hard at home, and save yourself a TON of money. VICTUS STUDY SKILLS SYSTEM REVIEW Victus Study Skills System Review. Study skills are important to students at all levels, so I was glad to be able to put the Victus Study Skills System to use with my kids. Their system is meant to be used in 5 one-hour sessions to teach children and adults how to effectively study by truly incorporating the taught skills into dailylife.
