Socio-economic factors have a lot to do with it, because a lot of the time access to healthcare is tied to financial resources, which can adversely, or positively, affect patient outcomes.From a cultural perspective, there are a lot of cultures or sub SOCIAL ISOLATION AND STIGMA: CROSS-CULTURAL PERSPECTIVES To combat stigma, we need to understand its nature and causes. Relatively little such research has been conducted in Central and Eastern Europe.Dzmitry Krupchanka, National Institute of Mental Health, Klecany, Czech Republic, told EPA 2019 in Warsaw that he had found only thirty papers on the topic published – in any language – over the past 25 years.
