Canadian Science Fiction & Fantasy Association. Welcome to the Aurora Awards! Member Login. Become a Member. 2021 AURORA AWARD BALLOT 2021 Aurora Award ballot. We are pleased to announce the 2021 Aurora Awards Ballot. The ballot is for works and activities done by Canadians in 2020. Voting will begin on July 31, 2021 and close at 11:59pm EDT on September 4, 2021. A virtual awards ceremony will be hosted by Can-Con ( www.can-con.org) on October 16, 2021. 2020 AURORA AWARD BALLOT This ballot is for works done in 2019 by Canadians. The Aurora Awards are nominated by members of the Canadian Science Fiction and Fantasy Association. The top five nominated works were selected. Additional works were included where there was a tie for fifth place. 2021 AURORA AWARD BALLOT 2021 Aurora Award Ballot. This ballot is for works done in 2020 by Canadians. DAVID CLINK. David Clink is the poetry editor (along with his sister, Carolyn) of Amazing Stories Magazine.His poem, “A sea monster tells his story” won the 2013 Aurora Award for Best Poem/Song. His poetry has appeared in over 50 journals, including Analog five times and Asimov’s three times.He has two speculative poetry collections, Monster, (published by Tightrope Books, 2010) and, The ABOUT | AURORA AWARDS This is the about page. The Aurora Awards are kind of like the Peoples Choice awards for Science Fiction, Fantasy and Horror, except just for Canadians. There are twelve categories, some of them for literary works, and some of them for amateur or what we call Fan works. All Canadians may nominate or vote for the awards. Each year’s awards are for original works or NOMINATIONS ARE NOW OPEN Nominations are now open. The nomination forms are now open for all paid CSFFA account holders. You have until April 24th, 2021 (11:59pm EDT) to submit your choices. For those new to the awards, you may choose up to five different works in each category. The forms have drop-down boxes so you can easily select what you want. RENEW YOUR MEMBERSHIP To view the members-only areas of the website, including nominating and voting, please renew your membership. The cost is $10.00. Renew Your Membership 2021.
