LOWER SCHOOL
Poly's Lower School is situated on our North Campus. The open-air, sunlit environment reflects Poly's commitment to providing our youngest students a place that is both comfortable and challenging, a place where they can grow into confident, curious learners. Students enjoy spacious classrooms equipped with the latest technology. Our dedicated science lab features an adjoining garden classroom where learning comes to life. In our STEAM playspaces, teachers rotate art, construction, and tactile materials regularly to encourage creativity. From Kindergarten to fifth grade, students study Spanish, giving them a strong foundation in world languages and cultures.*
MIDDLE SCHOOL
The Middle School is situated on our North Campus which features many of Poly's original buildings designed by architect, Myron Hunt. The unique open-air design means that students get plenty of sunshine and fresh air as they go about their day. Classroom spaces are flexible to encourage hands-on, collaborative learning. The block schedule allows students to rotate through core academic classes, as well as take visual and performing arts, physical education, and Block courses that broaden their co-curricular interests. During lunch and breaks, students often grab a bite to eat and hang out with friends on thecourtyard.

UPPER SCHOOL
Poly's Upper School is situated on our South Campus, across the street from the K-8 campus. Here you will find students spending time in various, outdoor areas including grade-level patios and Arden Lawn. Each student's tailored schedule allows for "free" periods to meet with teachers, hang out with friends, collaborate on projects, or grab a snack from the student center or our food truck. Students begin to develop their independence by managing their academic and co-curricular pursuits. There are many opportunities for students to join clubs and affinity groups to find connection with their peers based on shared interests.*
PERFORMING ARTS
The mission of the Performing Arts department is to provide students with an artistic educational program of the highest quality that nurtures creativity, curiosity, and understanding; teaches students to know themselves and open their hearts to others; and establishes a firm foundation in skills, content, experience, and character. Through theater, dance, vocal music and instrumental music, Poly's Performing Arts program provides students with well-rounded and comprehensive opportunities that prepares them for a lifetime of artistic appreciation and activity.*
VISUAL ARTS
The Visual Arts Department strives to encourage students to step free from their comfort zone, embrace the possibility of failure, and reflect authenticity in their work. We ask students to trust their inspiration and infuse their craftsmanship with compassion, creativity, and positivity. Through a holistic approach, students take risks and explore a variety of media. As students move through the Visual Arts curriculum, they are provided the opportunity to delve deeper into their passions and discover a new enthusiasm forunexplored mediums.

ATHLETICS
Whether competing or cheering for Poly teams, our students learn to value good sportsmanship, strong leadership, and interdependence that are essential during a child's education, but also throughout adult life. Students are encouraged to participate in interscholastic sports starting in 7th grade. The Athletic Department provides ample opportunities in a variety of sports and implements a 'no cut' policy where every student can participate on a team. Poly develops student-athletes who demonstrate commitment, sportsmanship, and a strong work ethic to their families, communitieis, and beyond.*
LIBRARIES
Poly's campus houses two separate libraries. Our North Campus library is dedicated to our Lower School and Middle School students, while the South Campus library caters to our Upper School students. Librarians hold weekly classes for K-5 students, while also offering research areas and a media center for Middle School students. Upper School librarians support students with their research projects and coursework, and also offer many online collections to be accessed at home. Students and faculty also spend time hanging out on the libraries' outdoor patios and enjoy the views of the San GabrielMountains.

CAMPUS SPACES
Poly's open-air campus provides many outdoor spaces for students to enjoy. From expansive areas such as Arden Lawn, Debbie Reed Courtyard and McWilliams Courtyard where kids play ping-pong and basketball, to the six play areas on North Campus designated for our K-8 students - there is a space for everyone! These campus spaces, in addition to a 25-yard pool, two indoor gyms, and athletic fields, provide plenty of room for Poly students to grow, as well as hone their imagination andphysical strength.
