To promote the product, click on the link to get your very ownaffiliate link.
STEP 3: SEND TRAFFIC TO YOUR AFFILIATE LINK Next, you’ll create blog content or online ads that run to this affiliate link. Here’s what it looks like when someone lands on it. TWO IDEAS FOR A HOME-BASED BUSINESS IN 2021 – PART 1 by My Journey to Millions Staff05/27/2021
written by My Journey to Millions Staff One major benefit of the pandemic has been the opportunity for people to work from home. Many people used the pandemic as an opportunity to start a home-based business in 2021. Not only did people learn to free themselves of the 9-5 grind, they sometimes made more money doing so. Sounds like a pretty sweet deal, right? We thought so. That’s why we created this home-based business in 2021 series. Use one of these ideas to replace your 9-5. 1. SELL ITEMS ON EBAY (THAT YOU DON’T EVEN OWN) One of the most popular ideas for home-based business in 2021 is online selling. We all know that eBay is the largest auction site in the world! Did you know you can sell different items on eBay that you don’t even own? It’s true. Here’s how you do it: STEP 1: FIND A PRODUCT TO AUCTION Let’s say you want to sell bunk beds. You would GO TO EBAY and lookup for bunk beds. Go in and find a bunk bed for sale on the platform. Image source: ebay.com This one looks good. It has sales too. Nice! Now I want to check to see where else it’s selling. STEP 2: FIND A COMPANY THAT SELLS IT CHEAPER When I did a Google search of the image, I found it’s selling on Walmart for $199. That’s a $50 profit for every bunk bed sold! Image source: Walmart.com STEP 3: CREATE A LISTING ON EBAY You then can use the same product descriptions and images to make your own eBay listing. If you were to sell ten of these bunk beds and a dozen or so more items like them, you could make over $1,000 a week! STEP 4: SHIP THE ITEM TO THE CUSTOMER You might be wondering, what about returns? All you have to do is coordinate between Walmart and your customer. Walmart will send you the return slip, and you can send it over to the customer througheBay.
For items that don’t get returned, you pocket the difference andrepeat.
You may be saying, great, but I don’t have the money for a bunk bed upfront. No problem, use a credit card and pay it off with the money from the buyer. Done! Let’s move on to the next one.2. START A BLOG
Another idea for a home-based business in 2021 is blogging. Believe it or not, if you love to write about passionate niche topics, you can earn a decent living with a blog. Best of all, it’s cheap to begin. You can GET STARTED FOR LESS THAN $5 PER MONTH.
How much can you earn? A LOT! Some people make between $10,000 to$100,000 per month!
Here are the six easy steps to start your own blog: * Choose your niche (health and fitness are very lucrative). * Choose a blogging platform – think Squarespace, WordPress, Wix,etc.
* Choose a web host (like Bluehost above). * Choose a blog name and a domain name (usually the same). * Choose a blog theme to make it look fancy. * Start making money. You can make money from several sources. First, through ads on your blog. Another way is affiliate marketing. Use sites like Amazon, ClickBank, and more. Stay tune for the second part of our list of ideas for a home-based business in 2021. YOU CAN START A HOME-BASED BUSINESS IN 2021 Believe it or not, you can start a home-based business in 2021. Stick around for the next blog post in this series, where we dive into even more ways to earn money from home. 5 TYPES OF TAXABLE INCOME & NONTAXABLE INCOME by My Journey to Millions05/19/2021
written by My Journey to Millions Our governments provide us with all sorts of goods and services, such as public transport and public education, which they pay for through taxes. If you earn money, you’re probably familiar with income tax. Most incomes are taxable. That means whatever you earn, through whatever means, you have to pay a portion of that to the government. Whether you’re getting a salary from an office job or profit you’re earning from a business; you’ll have to pay a form ofincome tax.
However, there are also some kinds of income that are not taxable.
It’s essential to know which incomes you need to pay tax on and which incomes are exempted so you can file your taxes correctly. After all, you don’t want to end up overpaying, but you don’t want to end up in hot water with your local tax authorities either. So, here are ten types of taxable and nontaxable incomes. 5 TYPES OF TAXABLE INCOME Besides your direct income, i.e., your salary, these incomes are alsotaxable:
1. CASH INCOME
If you earn your pay in cash through various off jobs, you still have to pay tax. It doesn’t matter that if you don’t have a fixed salary – as long as you’re earning, you must pay tax. 2. INTERESTS AND DIVIDENDS Invested your money in some stocks? Any interest or dividends you receive will be taxed. However, some investments such as municipal bonds are not taxable! If you’re not receiving profit and just your investment back, you won’t need to pay tax. 3. UNEMPLOYMENT BENEFITS Many people don’t realize that you must pay income tax on the unemployment benefits you receive.4. ALIMONY
If you receive alimony from an ex-spouse, you must pay income tax on it. However, if your divorce was finalized after 2019, your alimony payments are nontaxable.5. FRINGE BENEFITS
If you receive fringe benefits from your company, alongside your salary, they’re taxable. For example, if you receive benefits such as a free gym membership or a company car – it’s consideredtaxable income.
5 TYPES OF NONTAXABLE INCOME1. CHILD SUPPORT
Even though alimony is taxable, if you receive any money for child support – it is nontaxable.2. GIFTS
You don’t have to pay income tax on any gifts you receive.3. INHERITANCE
There’s no income tax to be paid on inheritance either. This is because the person you’re inheriting from has already paid inheritance tax on your behalf.4. LIFE INSURANCE
In general, when you receive a payout from a life insurance policy, it’s not taxable. However, if you cash a life insurance policy, you’ll have to pay tax on it.5. WELFARE PAYMENTS
While unemployment benefits are taxable income, any other welfare support you receive is nontaxable. For example, government payments to foster parents taking care of foster children are nontaxable.SUMMING UP
So, there you have it. Here are ten types of taxable and nontaxable incomes. However, this list is not exhaustive. A little bit of research will show you many other types of taxable and nontaxableincomes.

3 MONEY GOALS YOU CAN TACKLE THIS YEAR by My Journey to Millions05/06/2021
written by My Journey to Millions So you want to be a super saver? The average American family has about $40,000 in liquid savings across different types of accounts. Where do you stack up? Do you think your saving skills could use a boost? A fat savings account doesn’t happen overnight. However, small decisions can have big rewards over time. Check out these easy money goals you can tackle this year to up yoursavings game!
1. REDUCE CREDIT CARD DEBT Let’s be real, if we ranked types of debt on a scale of smart to dumb, credit card debt definitely comes in on the dumb end. Unless you’re using your card for an emergency (such as a medical bill) there really isn’t a reason to carry a balance on your credit card. The average interest rate for credit cards is an astonishing 20.28%!
This means that if you carry a balance, you’re paying all that interest on purchases that might not be 100% necessary. If you want to make saving a priority, reducing your credit card debt should be at the top of your list. Don’t just make your minimum payment every month. Aim to pay it off. If you can’t do that just yet, that’s okay. Put as much as you can towards those balances until you can pay them off and then keep it that way. Now that you aren’t throwing away money in credit card interest each month, you’ll find some funds freed up for saving!2. AUTOMATE SAVING
Saving money isn’t always hard to do because you don’t want to. In fact, for many people, the big issue might simply be that they forgetto do it.
Build your savings account without even thinking about it by setting up automatic deposits. Different banks offer different features so check to see what options your bank offers. Nearly every bank allows you to set a certain amount to automatically transfer from your checking to your savings account on whatever day you pick. 3. IMPROVE YOUR CREDIT SCORE As we said earlier, there are dumb kinds of debt, but also smart kinds. Using debt wisely to make large purchases is actually quitebeneficial.
However, before you take on that debt, it is best to boost your score as much as you can. A higher score translates to savings because you’ll qualify for lower interest rates and better loan terms. Always make your monthly payments on time because your payment history has the biggest impact on your score. Paying down your credit card debt will have already helped because it lowers your creditutilization rate.
MEETING YOUR FINANCIAL GOALS We hope these little money tips can help you move towards your money goals this year. Remember, looking at the big picture can feel overwhelming, but meeting little financial goals every day can add upover time.
