THE GEMS AT KLONDIKE BLUFFS The gems at Klondike Bluffs. A quick drive north out of Moab exposes you to a variety of the geographic formations and eccentricities the area offers. Much of Moab is red because its iron-filled sandstones have oxidized, i.e. rusted, over time. These reds are among the sights to see in the area just north of the entrance to Arches National Park. The Grand County Commission officially took positions on various bills during the 2021 legislative session. Of the four bills it supported, two became law. The Moab City Council at the conclusion of a lengthy meeting Tuesday voted 5-0 to place City Manager Joel Linares on paid administrative leave pending an employee assessment. The council went into closed executive session to discuss a personnel issue and did not discuss the reasons behind the move. LUNDY SIDWELL, 1957-2021 Lundy Sidwell, 1957-2021.
