MILES COVERDALE PRIMARY SCHOOL The speech and language classes at Miles Coverdale are very much part of the mainstream school. The classes provide for eighteen pupils with speech and language difficulties, aged between three and seven years old, in two classes, with a full time Teacher and Early Years Educator. On Thursday 7th February 2019 Mrs Baig, Miss Picken and six of our pupils attended the Evening Standard office to MILES COVERDALE PRIMARY SCHOOL •The House is a group of children who have 2 heads of house. Each house has a name, colour, motto, emblem and 2 house captains. •The house system creates competition, promotes good work and behaviour, encourages teamwork, provides opportunities to take on responsibilities and brings everyone in the school together. They were saved from Boneroot Warren when the Gorm attacked, by Crom; the blind, oldwarrior rabbit.

In English we follow the 'Letters and Sounds' phonics model for Early Reading and in Maths we use White Rose Maths as the basis for our curriculum.
