RELIEF CHEST
The Masonic Charitable Foundation is the national charity of Freemasonry under the United Grand Lodge of England (UGLE). UGLE is the governing body of Freemasonry in England, Wales, the Channel Islands, the Isle of Man and some Districts overseas. LATER LIFE - THE MASONIC CHARITABLE FOUNDATION Large grants. Large grants are for larger charities whose annual income exceeds £500,000. They are to fund projects and can be used for salary costs, activities, materials etc. Large grants start at £10,000 and usually range from £20,000-£60,000. They can be awarded over one to three years.THEORY OF CHANGE
Theory of Change Since the MCF was established in 2016, we have developed our grants and services to better align with the long-term strategic goals that will help us deliver our mission. ELIGIBILITY FOR CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE GRANTS Large grant. These grants are for larger charities whose annual income exceeds £500,000. RELIEF CHEST SCHEME
A Relief Chest is a charitable account which is owned collectively by a group of Freemasons, such as a lodge, chapter or province. Donations made by members of the group are collected and held securely in the Relief Chest, until the group decides to distribute them to registered charities. Today, there are over 5,000 Relief Chests which hold TEDDIES FOR LOVING CARE Teddies for Loving Care (TLC) provides cuddly bears to A&E departments for medical staff to give to young children. The bears are often used by staff to calm children down, reward them for being brave, and – in some cases – demonstrate procedures. The TLC teddy has become a useful tool for medical professionals and a real comfort for children.
