Orzo with Lemon Artichoke Pesto, Roasted Garlic, Corn and Cherry Tomatoes. March 10, 2015. OAT FLOUR CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES Instructions. Cream the butter with the sugars, add in the egg and vanilla. Mix until smooth. Sift together the oat flour with the salt and baking soda. Stir into the wet ingredients- note the dough will be stickier than “normal” cookie dough and add in the chocolate chips. NOW REFRIGERATE at least 2FRIED CATFISH
Directions: For the Fish. First, cut your fillets into small strips or nuggets. ( you may leave whole if you like but makes frying easier if the fish is in smaller pieces).Next, place the mustard, lemon juice, buttermilk, 1 tsp salt, 1 TBSP cajun seasoning and 1/2 tsp pepper in a large Ziploc bag and shake up to mix everything. NEW ORLEANS MUFFALETTA Mix together the mustard and horseradish and spread on the bread. Butter the outside of the bread and toast on low heat until slightly crispy. Remove from heat and set aside. Cut the bread into 2 layers horizontally. Layer half of the provolone on the bottom half of bread. CRISP MASHED POTATO FISH CAKES Mash together your potatoes and fish. Add in the seasonings then the egg and panko. Mix well. Form into small patties, approximately 2-3 inches. Cover and refrigerate for 30 minutes or all day. I like to do this in the morning so I can can breathe as dinner approaches knowingI
CRISPY SHEPHERD’S PIE Preheat a large skillet over medium high heat. Add oil to pan with beef, prosciutto and onions. Season meat with salt and pepper. Brown and crumble meat for 3 or 4 minutes. Add chopped carrot and peas. Cook veggies with meat 5 minutes, stirring frequently. In a second small skillet over medium heat cook butter and flour together 2 minutes. THE BEST CRAWFISH ETOUFFEE EVER! Cook in the roux for 5 minutes, or until they vegetables start to soften. Whisk in the stock, diced tomatoes, lemon juice, hot sauce, bay leaf, and Worcestershire sauce; turn the heat up to high and bring to a simmer. Reduce heat to low and simmer uncovered for 25 minutes. Stir in the crawfish and green onions and simmer for 5 minutes. THE PERFECT CAULIFLOWER CORNMEAL PIZZA CRUST-GLUTEN FREE Instructions. Rinse cauliflower, separate into florets. Place cauliflower in a food processor and process until very fine. You should have 2 cups of finely grated cauliflower. Transfer to a bowl and cover with plastic wrap. Microwave for 6 minutes. Transfer the cauliflower once it has cooled to a cheesecloth or sheer tea towel andsqueeze all

Gently stir in the eggs until thoroughly combined and then add in the bread crumbs. Shape into 6-8 crab cakes and place on a baking sheet. Cover and refrigerate the cakes for at least 1 hour up to 4 hours. Heat a large cast iron skillet to mediumheat
SPICED EGGNOG BISCUITS WITH CRANBERRIES Instructions. Combine the flour, baking powder, spices and salt in a medium bowl. Whisk to combine. Incorporate the butter into the flour with your hands, a mixer or a pastry blender. Mix in the cranberries and raisins. Form a well in the center and pour in the eggnog. Using a wooden spoon slowly mix well just until combined. BROWN RICE FLOUR CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES (ALTON BROWN In a medium bowl, sift together the rice flour, cornstarch, tapioca flour, xantham gum, salt and baking soda. Slowly incorporate the flour mixture into the wet ingredients until thoroughly combined. Add the chocolate chips and stir to combine. Chill the dough in the refrigerator until firm at least 2 hours. Preheat the oven to 375degree.
ROASTED BROCCOLI AND PECAN GRATIN Instructions. Put the broccoli and pecans in a bowl, drizzle with olive oil, toss with minced garlic, sprinkle with salt and pepper and red pepper flakes and transfer to a gratin dish or casserole dish. Cook until the tops are browning and the stems are crisp CHAI LATTE CARAMEL BARS Instructions. For the Shortbread (easiest recipe ever) Cream together your butter and sugar. Slowly add in the extract and then the dry ingredients. Beat until just combined. Place dough into a greased 8x10 pan and press dough down. Bake at 350 for 15 minutes. Remove and allow to cool completely as you do the next step. KING CAKE BREAD PUDDING Whisk to mix. Pour the mixture over the bread, and stir to combine. Allow the mixture to sit for an hour. Transfer the bread mixture to a 9x13 inch buttered casserole dish and bake at 350 until the center of the bread pudding is set, 50 to 60 minutes. In a heavy-bottomed pot or cast iron dutch oven, melt the butter and cook over low heat until it foams. Add the flour and cook, stirring until the roux reaches a nice golden brown color. KING CAKE BREAD PUDDING Combine the ingredients for the pudding in a large bowl. Whisk to mix. Pour the mixture over the bread, and stir to combine. Allow the mixture to sit for an hour. FRIED CATFISH
Directions: For the Fish. First, cut your fillets into small strips or nuggets. ( you may leave whole if you like but makes frying easier if the fish is in smaller pieces).Next, place the mustard, lemon juice, buttermilk, 1 tsp salt, 1 TBSP cajun seasoning and 1/2 tsp pepper in a large Ziploc bag and shake up to mix everything. BROWN RICE FLOUR CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES (ALTON BROWN In a medium bowl, sift together the rice flour, cornstarch, tapioca flour, xantham gum, salt and baking soda. Slowly incorporate the flour mixture into the wet ingredients until thoroughly combined. Add the chocolate chips and stir to combine. Chill the dough in the refrigerator until firm at least 2 hours.
