International Print Center New York (IPCNY) is New York’s flagship non-profit arts institution dedicated to the innovative presentation of prints by emerging, established, national, and international artists. IPCNY’s New Prints Program was created in 2000 as a platform for artists from a wide range of backgrounds creating prints and print-based work. The biannual open-call exhibitions feature work made in the preceding twelve months. On the occasion of Print Club’s 40th Anniversary, this virtual exhibition presents all of the 76 prints, drawings, and photographs— 49 purchased and 27 commissioned—given to the Des Moines Art Center since the Club’s founding. It also presents 22 prints that have been conserved withfunds donated

Watanabe Studio originally focused on screenprinting. However, responding to LeWitt's wishes, Watanabe added intaglio by the late 1980s, woodcut in the 1990s, and linocut in 1999. Edge of Visibility, curated in conjunction with the September-October issue of the journal Art in Print by its editor-in-chief Susan Tallman, focuses on low-visibility strategies in printmaking.With over forty works spanning the 17th century to the present, the exhibition features laborious microengravings and subtle watermarks to evanescent images printed with UV-reactive inks.
