WHAT IS A GSA CLUB?
GSAs Build Power GSA clubs, or GSAs for short, are student-run organizations that unite LGBTQ+ and allied youth to build community and organize around issues impacting them in their schools and communities. Until trans and queer young people can meet in-person, GSA Network will host virtual GSA meetings, provide resources for GSAs to meet and continue their work online, and offer FUN THINGS TO DO WITH YOUR GSA Young people making zines at YES! 2019. This resource lists fun things to do with all three types of GSA clubs: support, social, and activist. GSAs can be a combination of these three types and mix up their activities to reflect their mission. “Last year, we supplied over 150 gift bags to children who are unexpectedly hospitalized. VIRTUAL GSAS IN ACTION GSA Network has paused our in-person youth leadership training and events this year to keep our community healthy and united. Virtual GSAs In Action is a digital space where we feature virtual youth leadership events, online group conversations, and training in digitalorganizing.

The health and wellbeing of trans and queer youth of color is central to what we do every day in the GSA movement—whether that’s organizing for justice, creating safe spaces in schools, or advocating for comprehensive sex education.
