After the first successful gestational surrogacy attempt in 1985, intended parents were able to choose an egg donor and a surrogate to have children. Growing Generations was founded in 1996 with a specific focus on helping gay men become parents. ARE YOU BORN WITH ALL OF YOUR EGGS? The theory has been that a woman is born with one to two million immature eggs at birth, and will slowly begin losing them over the course of her lifetime. Many of those eggs will be lost before puberty sets in through a natural process called ovarian follicle atresia, leaving a woman with around 300,000 eggs at the time of puberty. WHAT IS A PRE-BIRTH ORDER? What is a Pre-Birth Order. Pre and post-birth orders are items of extreme interest in gestational surrogacy. Both assign parentage to the intended parents and remove any rights or obligations from the surrogate. These birth orders can also cause a great deal stress for both intended parents and surrogates when they’re not properlyunderstood.
SUCCESS RATE FOR SURROGACY Age is the single largest variable in IVF success. According to an April 2015 article published by NPR, 40% of IVF cycles performed in women under the age of 35 were successful, whereas a 4.5% success rate was observed in women ages 42 and above. In the case of surrogacy, these rates can improve because the surrogate candidate is beingscreened

WHAT IS A SURROGATE?SUR·RO·GATE
/ˈSƏRƏꞬƏTˈ/
A surrogate is a woman, who carries a child for individuals and couples (“Intended Parents”) that cannot carry a baby of theirown.
While there are many criteria to be a surrogate, the basic qualifications to become a surrogate are having had at least one healthy pregnancy, being physically/mentally healthy, financially stable, and able to commit to the timeframe of the process (approximately 18 to 24 months from application to delivery). Gestational surrogates (also known as gestational carriers or “GC’s”) are surrogates that are not related to the child(ren) they carry, rather an embryo belonging to the intended parents is implanted inside the gestational carrier via IVF. I wanted to thank you all for making my experience as a surrogate so amazing! ….Very few things in my life turn out better than I expector imagine.

WHAT IS AN EGG DONOR?EGG DO·NOR
/ˈĀG DŌ-NƏR\ˈ/
An egg donor is woman who donates her eggs (also referred to as ova or ovum) for others (“intended parents”) to use to achieve a pregnancy of their own. An egg donor can be someone known by the intended parents, such as a family member or friend (“known donor”. Or an egg donor can be previously unknown to the intended parents (“unknown donor”), as is often the case in commercial eggdonation.
Commercial egg donation is where a donor is represented by a specialized agency (“egg donor agency”) and intended parents select the egg donor from the egg donor agency’s database. In general, the egg donor and intended parents sign a contract together stipulating the rights and responsibilities of each party. In commercial egg donation, egg donors are typically between the ages of 21 and 30 years of age during their peak fertility years. They receive compensation and can generally do up to 6 egg donation cycles if they choose to do so.SURROGACY DEFINED.

WHAT IS SURROGACY?
SUR·RO·GA·CY
/ˈSƏRƏꞬƏSĒˈ/ Surrogacy is a process where a woman (“surrogate” or “gestational carrier”) carries and delivers a baby for someone else (“intended parent”). Most cases utilize gestational surrogacy and assisted reproduction to achieve this result. Gestational surrogacy means the surrogate is not biologically related to the child(ren) she carries. The surrogate is impregnated through in vitro fertilization (“IVF”) with the embryo(s) created from the sperm and/or eggs of the intended parents. This medical process is collectively referred to as assisted reproduction technology (“ART), or third party reproduction when involving a surrogate and/or donor.FROM REAL FAMILIES
Hear from real families as they discuss the surrogacy process and their personal experiences with Growing Generations. Building families and creating cherished legacies are our core values. EGG DONATION DEFINED. We provide a hands-on approach to the egg donation process. From egg donor selection to medical screening to the egg retrieval, and finally wrapping up your case, we are with you the entire way. As with our surrogates, we take fewer than 1% of all egg donor applicants. We provide photos of the egg donor, ranging from childhood to adulthood, along with videos and five pages of profile informationon the donor.
Unique to Growing Generations, we do fertility testing on all of our donors and offer a full refund of our agency fee if your chosen egg donor never begins her cycle medication. We have donors from across the country and the world, including a special program made up of professional fashion models. If you cannot find what you are looking for, we even offer a service to go out and find the perfect donor for you.Find an Egg Donor
WHAT IS AN EGG DONATION?EGG DO·NA·TION
/ˈĀG DŌ-ˈNĀ-SHƏNˈ/ Egg donation is the process by which a woman (“Egg Donor”) donates her eggs for use by individuals or couples (“intended parents”) to achieve a pregnancy of their own. The egg donor’s eggs are retrieved by means of a medical procedure known as transvaginal aspiration, whereby the eggs are gently suctioned with a catheter from the donor’s follicles. In commercial egg donation, generally all of the eggs retrieved will go to the intended parent whose fertility physician will fertilize those eggs with sperm belonging to the intended parents. After the embryos have matured and tested (if applicable), in general 1 or 2 embryos will be implanted into the intended parent or theirsurrogate.
