WE ARE GETTING CLOSER TO SETTING A REOPENING DATE! From the Executive Director and Chief CuratorDear FAMily,
The week of March 15, 2021 marked FAM being closed due to COVID-19 for one whole year (except for a few weeks in October 2020). Thanks to all of you who care about our Museum, we are as vital as ever, and we are ready to seamlessly reopen very, very soon! As was mentioned previously in our newsletters, as Fresno County moved into the red tier, we had to remain closed for critical building repairs. We are thrilled to announce that the chiller that regulates our indoor temperature has been replaced early! New lighting is going into our three major galleries and we are installing and reinstalling all the artwork. We plan to reopen as soon as we can (initially, for members only.) Watch these newsletters and our social media for thereopening dates.
Thank you once again for your understanding and your patience! We shall see you soon. Until then, please visit our exhibitions on our online Gallery Guide, join us for a variety of virtual tours and classes, read the news below about upcoming museum activities, and become a member! We appreciate you! We're almost there!
