Induction. 1972. Boasting a perfect 4.0 GPA in accounting at Oklahoma, Joe Wylie twice earned Academic All-America and Academic All-Big 8 honors. An All-Big 8 selection in 1970, he helped the Sooners to a 7-4-1 record and a 24-24 draw with Alabama in the Bluebonnet Bowl. Wylie ran in a touchdown just before halftime to give Oklahoma a 21-14lead.
