To empower Haitians, primarily women, with financial and development services to lift their families out of poverty. Fonkoze empowers the poor (primarily rural women) across Haiti via financial inclusion and development services such as literacy and life skills training, health education, ultra-poverty support and more. Our holistic approach to tackling the generational cycle of poverty in Haiti enables disenfranchised communities to overcome poverty and to recover and rebuild more quickly after political unrests and natural disasters occur, such as the 2010 Haiti Earthquake and Hurricane Matthew. The compassion and generosity of our supports and the dedication of our 900+ staff in Haiti and the U.S. make our work and impact possible. Fonkoze is known internationally as an organizationto trust.
