Place baking dish in a water bath and bake until the custard is set and a toothpick inserted into the pudding comes out clean, about 50 to 60 minutes. Remove from the water bath and cool on a wire rack for 10 to 15 minutes. May be served warm orchilled.

EASY MEXICAN CHOCOLATE FROSTING RECIPE WITH CINNAMON AND Place softened butter into mixing bowl. Sift cocoa powder, cinnamon, cayenne, salt together and add to butter. Beat with electric mixer until well combined. Sift powdered sugar. Mix into cocoa mixture 1/3 at a time. Beat until combined. Add vanilla and mix on medium speed while drizzling in enough heavy cream to make frosting creamy and notdry.
TEQUILA LIME SHRIMP BURRITO RECIPE Instructions. Mix tequila, lime juice, orange juice, 1 teaspoon each of zests, cumin, 1⁄3 jalapeño, and 1 clove garlic in a large ziplock bag. Add shrimp and marinate for 1 hour in refrigerator. Remove shrimp from refrigerator and drain, reserving 1⁄4 cup of marinade. Season shrimp with salt and pepper. EASY FRESH TOMATO SALSA IN THE BLENDER First, rinse and dry the vegetables for the salsa. Next, remove the stems and rough chop the ingredients. Remove the seeds and veins of the jalapeños if you would like a milder salsa. Layer the ingredients in the blender. Put half of the tomatoes in the bottom of the blender. Next, layer in the other ingredients- jalapeño, garlic, onion and CLASSIC CHEESE CRISPS RECIPE FROM OUR HOMETOWN Instructions. Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Brush tortillas with a little butter on each side. Place tortillas on a wire rack on a baking sheet. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes, turning halfway through. Remove from oven and spread tortillas with cheese and chiles, if desired. Turn oven heat to 500 degrees. SLOW COOKER ACHIOTE PORK: THE OLD-WORLD ORIGINAL PULLED 1 large white onion. Mix the achiote paste with a fork in a small bowl with the lime juice and salt. Lay the banana leaves to line a large slow cooker. Rough chop the onion and spread in the bottom of the slow cooker on top of the banana leaves. Rub the achiote mixture all over the pork roast and then place in slow cooker with the lid on. BACON WRAPPED SONORAN HOT DOG RECIPE Refrigerate until ready to grill. Open cans of beans and heat to a simmer. Drain beans in a strainer over a medium mixing bowl, keep warm. Toss diced tomatoes, onions, cilantro together, set aside. Grill bacon wrapped hot dogs over medium heat until bacon is crispy on all sides, but not burned. FRESH MASA FOR TAMALES RECIPE AND VIDEO Beat lard with a stand mixer (or a hand mixer and two large bowls) to the consistency of whipped cream (takes about 15 minutes on highest setting). Add 1/3 of masa a little at a time in small, golfball sized pieces. Sprinkle baking powder and salt over the lard mixture. Beat until well combined. EASY JALAPENO CHICKEN THIGHS WITH HONEY AND LIME Whisk together the honey, soy sauce, olive oil, garlic, green onions, jalapenos, lime juice and zest. Cut chicken thighs into half lengthwise. Place thighs and marinade in a zip lock bag then, let sit at room temperature for at least 30 minutes to 1 hour, turning over occasionally. Heat a grill pan or saute pan to medium-high heat andcoat with
MEXICAN FOOD RECIPE BASICS-MASA 101 Add the recommended amount of water but reserve a few tablespoons. The dough may not need all of the water. The amount of water will vary depending on the humidity of the day and the freshness of the flour. The dough should have the consistency of sugar cookie dough. Add the remaining water if necessary. Toss the shrimp in 1/4 teaspoon of chile powder and a pinch of salt and pepper and add to skillet. CHOCOLATE CHIPOTLE FLOURLESS CAKE RECIPE TO SPICE UP YOUR Preheat oven to 300 degrees. Melt chocolate and butter in a double boiler. Stir together half the powdered sugar, egg yolks, salt and chile powder and stir into chocolate mixture. Beat egg whites in a stand mixer to soft peaks. Add in remaining powdered sugar and beat tostiff peaks.
CHOCOLATE COVERED COCONUT BON-BONS RETRO-STYLE Remove coconut mixture from fridge and roll into balls about the size of a walnut. In a small saucepan, melt the parafin. Slowly stir in chocolate chips and keep over very low heat. Using a sturdy toothpick, dip coconut balls into melted chocolate and set on a sheet of waxpaper to cool.
