The Gosford signal electrician has identified three Sydney Trains pay fails that may have affected hundreds of electrical workers. ETU members who have been underpaid may be eligible for significant backpay. Pay fail 1. $66,000 UNPAID SUPER RECOVERED FOR 30 ETU MEMBERS The ETU has recovered $66,000 in superannuation owed to around 30 ETU members. Contractor JOHN AYRES ELECTRICAL failed to pay compulsory super and MERC redundancy contributions between January and May for some electricians.
