The creation of these ongoing expert patient consultative panels has made substantial contributions to improved drug development but more systematic evaluation of the evidence is needed. One, that places respect, protection and promotion of human rights at the centre. At the same time, there is an on-going need for financial and scientific support for the development of highly needed diagnostics, therapeutics and vaccines and then a need to ensure fairness and equity in their access. We need a Common Public Goodapproach.

Sex workers are one of the five key populations groups that are particularly vulnerable to HIV and frequently lack adequate access to services.
