NEW BRUNSWICK REAL ESTATE ASSOCIATION The number of homes sold through the MLS® System of real estate Boards in New Brunswick totaled 1,394 units in April 2021. This was more than double the levels from a CAMBRIDGE ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS® The number of homes sold through the MLS® System of the Cambridge Association of REALTORS® totaled 386 units in April 2021. This was more than double the levels from a year earlier, surging 181.8% from April 2020 and was also a new sales record for the month of April. RENFREW COUNTY REAL ESTATE BOARD The number of homes sold through the MLS® System of the Renfrew County Real Estate Board totaled 350 units in April 2021. This was more than double the levels from a year earlier, surging 268.4% from April 2020 when sales were at their lowest for the month in over twodecades.
KOOTENAY ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS® The number of homes sold through the MLS® System of the Kootenay Association of REALTORS® totaled 383 units in March 2021. This was a substantial increase of 86.8% from March 2020. This was also a new sales record for the month of March. On a year-to-date basis, home sales totaled a record 885 units over the first three months of theyear.
TILLSONBURG DISTRICT REAL ESTATE BOARD The average price of homes sold in April 2021 was a record $631,823, up sharply by 45.3% from April 2020. The more comprehensive year-to-date average price was $608,300, a substantial increase of 40.6% from the first four months of 2020. That said, it is important to remember that the national average price dropped by 10% month-over-month last April as the higher-end of every market effectively shut down for a couple of months. This was more than double the levels from a year earlier, rocketing up 177.6% from April 2020.
