The District is governed by a Board of Directors consisting of five members of the public who are elected to staggered four-year terms. The District’s five divisions contain approximately equal populations, and each elect one director who must be a resident of that division. More about the Board of Directors. If you discover a ruptured or leaking water main in the street or a broken fire hydrant, call 925-688-8374 without delay, so a District repair crew can be dispatched immediately. See water waste? TEMPORARY HYDRANT METERS This service is available to anyone temporarily using water from a hydrant in our treated water service area (typically for construction, tree farms/temporary businesses, filling tank trucks, street sweeping, etc.). Temporary service is classified as less than 12 months.
