Press releases 18th May 2021 CARERS TRUST MARKS 70TH BIRTHDAY OF HER ROYAL HIGHNESS THE PRINCESS ROYAL WITH LAUNCH OF NEW FUND FOR EXHAUSTED UNPAID CARERS Carers Trust President, Her Royal Highness The Princess Royal, has launched a special new fund which aims to provide small grants to approximately 30,000 exhausted unpaid carers so they can take a much-needed break from the constant demands of their caring role.1st April 2021
CARERS TRUST RESPONDS TO GOVERNMENT'S DECISION TO DEPRIORITISE UNPAID CARERS ON NATIONAL BOOKING SYSTEM FOR THE COVID-19 VACCINE Unpaid adult carers who are eligible for the Covid-19 vaccine, and are not known to be carers by the health and care system will be unable to book a vaccine on the National Booking System, instead they will have to approach their GP, according to the latest information.30th March 2021
