CAA INTERNATIONAL
CAA is an international organisation bringing together archaeologists, mathematicians and computer scientists. Its aims are to encourage communication between these disciplines, to provide a survey of present work in the field and to stimulate discussion and futureprogress.
JOURNAL - CAA INTERNATIONAL The Journal was established in 2017 by Computer Applications in Archaeology International (CAA) to provide an attractive outlet for publication of cutting-edge research in the broad field of digital archaeology and cultural heritage. We now invite high quality papers on all the aspects of digital archaeology, including, – but notrestricted

Membership runs from January 1st for a calendar year. You must be a member of CAA to attend the annual conference. The membership fee can be paid when registering for the conference (the conference fees are a separate payment) or at any time of the year.PROCEEDINGS
CAA has published Conference Proceedings since 1973, when the first conference was organized. CAA Proceedings are peer-reviewed, and publication is organized by the local conference organizers. As of 2012, CAA no longer sells back copies of Proceedings, these can be ordered through the original publishers, when available. PUBLISHED CAA PROCEEDINGS Published CAA proceedings. DIGITAL MODELLING IN MUSEUM AND PRIVATE COLLECTIONS: A 2. Considerations of current provenance. Traditionally, and still in general, Roman military equipment studies have included (generally unprovenanced) items from private collections in their data sets without discussion (e.g. Egg, 1986; Bottini et al. 1988; Paddock 1993; Flower, 1998; Burns 2005; Bishop and Coulston 2006; Fabregat 2012; etc.).This situation is problematic and the inclusion of RECENT TRENDS AND LONG-STANDING PROBLEMS IN ARCHAEOLOGICAL The emergence of UAVs as a platform for archaeological prospection is probably the most visible trend in archaeological remote sensing in recent years (e.g. Campana 2017a; Lasaponara & Masini 2016, Mozas-Calvache et al. 2012; Sonnemann, Malatesta & Hofman 2016 ). A MODEL-BASED STATISTICAL CLASSIFICATION ANALYSIS FOR For the classification process, given the aim of the study, a Multinomial Logistic Regression Model (Hosmer & Lemeshow 2000) was run with the Stepwise method to include all the variables; however, the procedure could not be completed due to the missing elements in the data set. Therefore, a few variables with the highest amount of incompleteness such as Stem Width (cm), Driller Length ESTIMATING POPULATION GROWTH RATES AND INSTANTANEOUS The relevant formula 1 is. p 2 = p 1 ( 1 + r) y. which can be rewritten as. r 12 = ( p 2 / p 1) 1 / y − 1. where p1 and p2 are standardized room counts from the given and subsequent period, y is the number of years between the estimates, and r is the growth rate. MAPPING OUR HERITAGE: TOWARDS A SUSTAINABLE FUTURE FOR Development of national archaeological databases and their use. The origins of large (national) archaeological databases stem from the post-Second-World War shift in cultural heritage legislation and expansion of the archaeological enterprise in a number of developed countries (Willems 2000; Demoule 2012), leading to systematisation and standardization of archaeological surveys andCAA UK
