The Premier, who was speaking in the House of Assembly, said this amount was spent during the last 13 months. CRUISE TOURISTS PREFER TO INTERACT WITH VACCINATED PERSONS As the BVI gets ready to start welcoming cruise passengers in June, Premier Andrew Fahie is warning residents that cruise passengers are already stating that they would prefer to interact with persons who’ve taken COVID-19 vaccines. YOUNG MAN SUSTAINS BROKEN LEG IN BIKE CRASH Young man sustains broken leg in bike crash. A man sustained serious injuries to his lower extremities in a motorcycle accident on the eastern end of Tortola some time after midday on Sunday, April 18. Images sent to our news centre indicates the man’s right leg snapped at the calf during the accident. The leg was evidently broken. TRAVELLERS MUST NOW COVER COST OF TRANSPORTATION UPON Transportation is not covered in the travel authorisation fee paid by each passenger arriving in the territory via the BVIGateway portal.
