Although looks tend to be deceiving, and Elloren herself is powerless. She lives a quiet and extremely sheltered life with her two brothers and uncle, simply trying to get by in a society that prizes magical power over all else. {ASIDE} RATING ON GOODREADS BEFORE YOU’VE READ IT. Amen! Before all of this rabid witch hunting started I read a couple of books before they were called out: one was for racism, because of some terms similar to half-breed, but it turned out to be pointing out how bad judging a person by race is; and the other was historical fiction that had a certain segment of society hanging out in bars mostof their time.
