Blintzapalooza. Blintzapalooza is TBH’s beloved annual community fundraiser. Each year, thousands of people come through the temple doors to purchase bagels, blintzes, and books. Usually on the last Sunday in March, Blintzapalooza is one of the ways that TBH fulfills the Jewish value of tzedakah, or charitable giving. The Temple Beth Hatfiloh cemetery dates to 1857, and is the oldest Jewish cemetery in Washington State. TBH currently maintains two cemeteries: the TBH Historic Cemetery, which is reserved for Jewish burial, and the TBH Family cemetery, which permits the burial of non-Jewish partners of Jewish community members. HISTORY - TEMPLE BETH HATFILOH History. This history was prepared by Beth Halpern in celebration of TBH’s 75th anniversary in 2013, and is based on the work of Eva Goldberg, Lois and Dan Roselle, and Edie and Ben Bean.
