These measures and procedures are being taken to protect the safety and health of the members of the public, limit the transmission of the virus and maintain access to justice as an essential service for the public. Both Courts have taken steps to ensure that the public continues to have access to the courts and to deal with urgent and essential matters. As much as possible, both courts have modified and adjusted their processes to provide as many of each Court’s normal services by telephone conferences, videoconferences, and in person appearances where it is safe and necessary to do so.
