MT NINDERRY
Mt Ninderry - A pleasant walk following a stepped track to a large plateau with two viewing platforms. One covers the west, overlooking Yandina and the Blackall Range, the MT NGUNGUN - AUSSIE BUSHWALKING Mount Ngungun (pronounced 'noo noo')but generally known as "Gun Gun" is a very popular hike due to its relative ease and fantastic views. Traditional owners have asked that this mountain not be climbed.WARRIE CIRCUIT
Warrie Circuit - Beautiful walk through the valley. Pass and go through lots of waterfalls and rainforest. Stop at Apple Tree Park for toilet stop on way. Circuit is another 5-10min drive from there. Public toilets are also located at Tallanbana Picnic Area approximately 300m on the right before Canyon Lookout where Warrie Circuit begins - toilets are set back off the road and can't be seen MT BARNEY NATIONAL PARK Mt Barney National Park - Mt Barney with it's two peaks (Mount Barney East at 1,351m and Mount Barney West at 1,354m) is the highest peak in Mount Barney National Park, and one of the most popular bushwalks in South-East Queensland. Other peaks in Mount Barney National Park include Mount Maroon (967m), Mt May (836m), Mt Clunie (1155m). Lower Portals - This was my first overnight hike. It was challenging, but not ridiculous. A good beginners walk. I highly recommend going for a dip in the creek even in Winter. It EMU MOUNTAIN (MT. PEREGIAN) Getting there: Emu Mountain is about 3 km north of Coolum beach. From Coolum Beach follow the David Low Way north. Turn left at Havana Road East and follow this DRIPPING ROCK AND THE OVERHANG Getting there: From Monto, head north on the Burnett Highway and after 11.5km turn right into Cania Road (signposted Cania Gorge). Follow this for 13.7km and park by the picnic area and information board on the right, about 1km beyond the Cania Gorge Tourist Retreat.FLINDERS PEAK
Flinders Peak - A steep climb up the northwestern ridge of Flinders Peak, passing over several crests giving expansive views north to Brisbane on the way up. As it climbs higher, views expand to include the Fassifern Valley and south west to Lamington plateau. The final segment descends from Little Flinders across a col and ascends againto Flinders Peak.

Dularcha NP - Tunnel Track - Walk, ride or cycle this track, which takes you through the heritage listed railway curved tunnel (94m). Eucalypt forest and riparian areas with flooded gums, cabbage tree palms and rainforest plants feature here and provide habitats for a diversity of wildlife. Mount Beerburrum - A paved but very steep walk leads 700 metres uphill through a small area of rainforest, then winds up through eucalyptus woodland to a fire tower. There is a 360 degree view of the Glass House Mountains and other parts of South East Queensland from the summit. On a clear day, Brisbane CBD is visible too. When descending the fire tower, go down backwards as you would with MOUNT MAY - AUSSIE BUSHWALKING Mount May - Ascend by the northern ridge from the campsite then descend via the southwest ridge, then follow the 4WD road back to the Mt May reserve. Mt Cooroora at 446m (Tuchekoi National Park), is probably the most famous of the Sunshine Coast climbs, due to the King of the Mountain race held annually in July since 1979. The fact that it is a race from the pub in town, and the best time is 22:43, gives you the false impression that this might be quite an easy climb, but you would be wrong!BATTLESHIP SPUR
Battleship Spur - Battleship Spur (Carnarvon National Park). Start at the Ranger Hut and walk up the gorge until you reach Boowinda Gorge. Walk up Boowinda Gorge and ascend gap in wall. Walk another 4km to the spur ascending 4 false summits and ridges. Take care on rock scree about halfway up to summit. Plenty of steps and markers to guide theway.

POINT LOOKOUT TO KEYHOLES Point Lookout to Keyholes - Start from Point Lookout and walk southward down the beach till a sign in the dunes where you head in land for about 100m to the keyholes. Then head back to Point Lookout same way. Look out for 4WDsTWIN FALLS CIRCUIT

CUNNINGHAMS GAP TO LAIDLEY CREEK FALLS Cunninghams Gap to Laidley Creek Falls - I've always loved the view of The Ramparts to the north of Cunninghams Gap when driving up Main Range, and have done the walk from the Gap to Bare Rock on a couple of occassions. This is only a short walk on a well-graded track, and not too much of a climb. The view at the end makes this a great short walkall by itself.

Cascades Track - This walk explores part of the northern section of Garigal National Park and the upper reaches of Middle Harbour Creek. The walk follows a service trail from Douglas Street, St Ives, to cross Middle Harbour Creek, then explores a large rock platform with the Cascades. The cascades themselves are not huge, but the rock platform, rock pools, and the cascades combine to form aFLINDERS PEAK

Mount Cooee - At just 191m, this is probably the least climbed and one of the least known mountains in the area, especially as it is overshadowed by Mount Tibrogargan immediately to the west.MT TIBROGARGAN
Mt Tibrogargan - I attempted the climb solo and found it not too difficult. Slightly easier than Mt Beerwah and the view up top was worth the climb. Got up in 45mins and down in 60 mins. TRACHYTE AND TIBROGARGAN CIRCUIT Trachyte and Tibrogargan Circuit - A nice, easy walk with nothing too strenuous. Leading from the car park, begin the Tibrogargan Circuit. At the first fork take a right (sign post and map at the fork). The circuit winds through open eucalypti, casuarina and native flora alongside Mount Tibrogargan and Mount Tibberoowuccum. Signage along the track provide information about the area's flora and MT BEERWAH EAST FACE Mt Beerwah East Face - With the summmit track closed due to a massive rockfall in 2008 this is an alternative route to the summit. It is quite steep and exposed in places and not recommended if you don't have a head for heights.Home
