In Morocco, the radio frequency spectrum is part of the State's public domain. The Law 24-96 mandated ANRT to manage it. This law defines various regimes for the establishment and operation of radio networks. The following fall within its authority: Authorization regime: independent radio networks. The National Telecommunications Regulatory Agency, through its participation in the creation and development of the Soft Centre since 2010, aims to promote innovation in the areas of information technology. Domaine .ma. Managing the ".ma" domain is one of the missions of the National Telecommunications Regulatory Agency. In this context, the ANRT is required to put in place the necessary arrangements to provide administrative, technical and commercial management of the ".ma" domain, in line with international practice. Through its international cooperation activities, ANRT actively monitors developments in the telecommunications sector as well as the information and communication technologies sector and its governing regulatory framework; it participates in events organized by specialized agencies and shares its experience with both regulatory authorities and international organizations.
