Sylvie was a part of the ADD family for over 11 years and worked across various roles including in our programme, UGANDA | ADD INTERNATIONAL Uganda is one of the most densely populated countries in Sub Saharan Africa with 80% of its population living in rural areas. Northern Uganda is still recovering from decades of violent unrest, which forced up to 1.7 million people to flee their homes. We partner with disability activists in Tanzania to empower disabled children and their families to access an education. The International Aid Transparency Initiative (IATI) has been set up by a group of leading international development organisations, with the aim of making information about aid spending easier to access, use and understand. ADD International adheres to IATI's principles and guidelines, and has developed an exclusion policy. ADD International is currently publishing data on the IATI website EQUAL OPPORTUNITIES. Developing a diverse workforce is seen as positively enhancing to our organisation.
