ABOUT - ABCD STUDY
Using cutting-edge technology, scientists will determine how childhood experiences (such as sports, videogames, social media, unhealthy sleep patterns, and smoking) interact with each other and with a child’s changing biology to affect brain development and EDUCATORS - ABCD STUDY Parents, educators, and researchers share a common goal—helping our children become healthy and well-adjusted adults. Science-based information can help us achieve that goal. FAMILIES - ABCD STUDY This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to join leading experts in the field of child development and neuroscience as they find answers to important questions about the influence of childhood experiences on the brain and behavior. CONTACT - ABCD STUDY University of Michigan. Principal Investigators: Drs. Mary Heitzeg and Chandra Sripada Site Coordinator: Kalina Slepicka Phone: (Toll free): 844-UMI-ABCD (864-2223) Email: abcdmichigan@umich.edu. PROTOCOLS - ABCD STUDY The ABCD protocol is a comprehensive set of physical, cognitive, social, emotional, environmental, behavioral, and academic assessments, as well as multimodal ABCD COORDINATING CENTER It also works with the Data Analysis and Informatics Center to provide data quality control and monitor progress towards study goals.
