As part of HR Green’s ongoing commitment to helping communities leverage Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) funding for brownfields assessments and cleanup, the company announced today that it has helped the City of Waterloo, IA secure an EPA grant totaling $300,000. City officials immediately worked with several key stakeholders, including the historic preservation committee and Main Street Waterloo, to identify a potential re-use for the 0.94-acre site; however, contamination concerns created anxieties for potentialinvestors.

BICYCLE AND PEDESTRIAN CONNECTIONS TO TRANSIT STUDY Metropolitan Council, MN HR Green planners and GIS specialists devised a method to rank bus stops in Metropolitan Council communities based on improvement needs. Data was gathered from partnering communities, public sources, and field data collected by HR Green staff. ILLIANA CORRIDOR TIER I & II EIS Will and Kankakee Counties, IL and Lake County, IN HR Green served as a sub-consultant for the Tier One EIS and the Tier Two EIS. The NE 36th Street Reconstruction, I-35 Interchange to NE Delaware Avenue, Construction Phase Services project was initiated in February 2012 with the City of Ankeny.
