I used to love art when I was young, but I fell out of love with it as I got older and was going to give it up when I finished school had I not had my accident. But my accident, which has left me paralysed from the shoulders down, has led me back to art and given me my joy and love for painting, drawing and creating. I might not be able to use my hands to paint but sometimes you just have to ABOUT - HENRY FRASER ART About - Henry Fraser Art. Nearly nine years ago I was on holiday with my mates to celebrate the end of our AS exams. On the fifth day of our holid ay surrounded by incredible friends on a hot beautiful beach with blue sky and laughter all around I did something I have my whole life when by the sea. I ran down the beach and into the sea to aBLUE GIRAFFE
Lockdown gave me lots of time to paint and to think about what I want to paint. It made me think about trying new things. Again looking back through what I had already painted I was looking for a way to progress to something new. So I decided to paint black and white on a coloured background and, like my original stag painting, focusing a lot on the antlers. Limited Editions A5 x 150 A3 x 300HAND TO MOUTH
I decided to put this book together as the end of 2020 will mark a full five years since I started my mouth paining/drawings. I will not be able to host an exhibition for a while because of the current climate so I thought this would be the best way to mark it. I chose this time to do it because it would show things have evolved over the five years and hopefully that journey comes out in the book.TURQUOISE RABBIT
Turquoise rabbit - My inspiration to paint this came from two places. Firstly the one background I hadn’t yet tried my monochromatic style on was black so I thought I’d try it out with more vivid colours and with the addition of some foliage too. Like my lockdown self portrait. The subject, the rabbit, came from seeing them in the garden and as having spent a lot of time at home during the THE LITTLE BIG THINGS This is a quote from me, a lesson I have learnt through my experiences. It's a message that I try to spread. Unlimited prints THE RHINO - HENRY FRASER ART The Rhino. £40.00 – £90.00. This was a commissioned painting. I was given quite a free reign for this commission as the person who ordered it just wanted a rhino and left the breed and position of the rhino fully in my hands. The painting faced me with a new challenge as I chose to go slightly larger, meaning having to reach the extremities EVERYDAY IS A GOOD DAY Everyday is a good day. £ 10.00 – £ 20.00. This is a quote from me, a lesson I have learnt through my experiences. It’s a message that I try to spread. Unlimited prints. Size. Choose an option A3 A5. Clear. Everyday is a good day quantity.THE SUNFLOWER
The Sunflower. £40.00 – £80.00. I chose to paint a sunflower as I had painted natural objects and landscapes a few times but never focused on plants. One of the first things I ever painted was a still life of sunflowers when I was seven years old. I wanted to try it again. I loved painting this image because of the colours and joy itHENRY FRASER ART

It took a lot longer than I normally take to paint an animal and I’ve never made so many adjustments either. I couldn’t get the colours or shape right and it just kept expanding. The thing I wanted most was that stare and look an owl has. I MY EYES - HENRY FRASER ART This painting was from a series of paintings I created for the release of my book. I painted the eyes of my family as a way to honour them as they have given me so much since my accident. I have put this in my exhibition as part of the "Me" paintings to show the progression inVIOLET CROCODILE
Violet Crocodile - I think this is one of my favourite pieces I have painted. I really did enjoy painting it as I liked the challenge of getting in all the gnarled parts of the crocs skin. It’s one that the more I see it, the happier I am with it. It was fun to get in all the different tones and layer the colours more deeply. Limited Edition prints A5 x 150 A3 x 300ME ON THE BEACH
This painting is of my first visit to a beach since my accident. The last time I was on a beach I left in the back of an ambulance. In July 2009 I ran down the beach and into the water to what felt like a good depth. I dived forward without realising there was a sand bank in front of me. I went head first into the sand bank and dislocated my neck leaving me unable to move in the water.TROY DEENEY
Troy Deeney. £ 30.00 – £ 60.00. This was a commission from my brother and his girlfriend for her brothers 21st birthday. He is a big Watford fan and of course Try Deeney is a Watford legend. It was only right that I included this in the exhibition with the venue bring in Watford. Limited Editions. GORILLA II - HENRY FRASER ART Gorilla II. £ 40.00 – £ 80.00. This is the final painting in the series of recreating my older paintings. Like the Return Of The King the original Gorilla was in black and white with orange eyes which is why I’ve put orange around the eyes of the Gorilla. The black and white one was the most popular painting from my exhibition two yearsago.
THE HIGHLAND COW
The Highland Cow. £ 30.00 – £ 65.00. I chose to paint a Highland Cow because they are such fascinating animals. Even though you rarely see their faces they seem to have so much character, normally displayed by their long flowing hair. This is what I wanted to capture in the painting. The painting of their hair seemed to suit my style. RED ZEBRA - HENRY FRASER ART Red Zebra. £ 30.00 – £ 65.00. I enjoyed painting the Blue Giraffe so much I wanted to paint another monochromatic painting. It took a while to get the colours right as I wanted the yellow background. Trying to find the best combo took a couple of attempts and the red fit really well. I did not want to do too much shading as I wantedsolid
LIGHT ACROSS WATER
Light across water. £ 35.00. This is a continuation from Light Through The Darkness, trying something abstract. The Lines represent light across ripples in the water. I had to paint this in landscape, if the canvas was in portrait I would not have been able to reach the top. So I had to try and visualise it being in portrait mode as Ipainted it.

I wanted to show the being challenged in life is inevitable but being THE EAGLE - HENRY FRASER ART This was my first attempt at painting on a black background. It posed a completely different challenge as it was also on card. The paints react completely differently drying in a more solid state. So, I had to learn a different way to paint. It took a lot of layering with the paint to create the depth in the feathers from the dark undercoat to the light outer feathers. Limited Editions A3 xLIGHT ACROSS WATER

Limited Editions A5 x 150 A3 x 300 THE JAGUAR - HENRY FRASER ART The Jaguar I always enjoyed painting big cats, having already painted tigers, lions and a leopard. I chose the Jaguar because of its amazing colouring and spots. As I am going through my phase of painting on different coloured backgrounds, I decided on blue because I thought it would really help the Jaguar to stand out. Limited Editions Size A3 x300 Size A5 x 150

Some of my recent paintings have been updated versions of old images I have created. I do this to show progression and a change of style. The first iPad image I created was of Audrey Hepburn from the Iconic Breakfast at Tiffany’s and it was a very popular painting so I decided to paint her again in colour.THE SUNFLOWER
The Sunflower. £40.00 – £80.00. I chose to paint a sunflower as I had painted natural objects and landscapes a few times but never focused on plants. One of the first things I ever painted was a still life of sunflowers when I was seven years old. I wanted to try it again. I loved painting this image because of the colours and joy itDURDLE DOOR
Durdle Door. £ 40.00 – £ 80.00. This is a painting of Durdle Door on the Dorset coast. It was a commission from someone for their fathers birthday. It was tough to recreate the beach and the rock formation as the details are so small. It was a new challenge as I’ve never painted aHENRY FRASER ART

I used to love art when I was young, but I fell out of love with it as I got older and was going to give it up when I finished school had I not had my accident. But my accident, which has left me paralysed from the shoulders down, has led me back to art and given me my joy and love for painting, drawing and creating. It was a new challenge as I’ve never painted a MY EYES - HENRY FRASER ART This painting was from a series of paintings I created for the release of my book. I painted the eyes of my family as a way to honour them as they have given me so much since my accident. I have put this in my exhibition as part of the "Me" paintings to show the progression inTURQUOISE RABBIT
Turquoise rabbit - My inspiration to paint this came from two places. Firstly the one background I hadn’t yet tried my monochromatic style on was black so I thought I’d try it out with more vivid colours and with the addition of some foliage too. Like my lockdown self portrait. The subject, the rabbit, came from seeing them in the garden and as having spent a lot of time at home during the GORILLA II - HENRY FRASER ART Gorilla II.
ORANGE OWL - HENRY FRASER ART Orange Owl - This painting was a real challenge for me. It took a lot longer than I normally take to paint an animal and I’ve never made so many adjustments either. I couldn’t get the colours or shape right and it just kept expanding. The thing I wanted most was that stare and look an owl has. I think I’m happy with the final piece. I decided to look back through my work and think about creating new takes on old pieces. I chose my lion painting. I thought I would go bold on the colours, rather than black and white, and have his portrait showing the majesty and pride of these beautiful animals’.Limited Editions.
BOOK COVER - HENRY FRASER ART Book Cover. £ 75.00. This is the front cover of my book. I got to paint the picture on the front cover as well as the title, The Little Big Things. I wanted to write a book that was honest and didn’t hold back about the way I was feeling both physically and mentally. I wanted to show the being challenged in life is inevitable but beingTHE PEONIES
The Peonies. £ 30.00 – £ 60.00. Peonies. I painted this as a thank you to Fearne Cotton for the amazing foreword to my new book. This was a fun one for me because I got to set up my own still life with some faux peonies mum has at home. I was able to setup the flowers in a way I wanted and I thought would be the representation of the flowers.TROY DEENEY
Limited Editions.THE HIGHLAND COW
The Highland Cow. £ 30.00 – £ 65.00. I chose to paint a Highland Cow because they are such fascinating animals. Even though you rarely see their faces they seem to have so much character, normally displayed by their long flowing hair. This is what I wanted to capture in the painting. The painting of their hair seemed to suit my style.HENRY FRASER ART
