Reflections. When I married my husband 20 years ago, he was smooth shaven, bookish, and an introvert like myself. Fast forward a few years, and he grew in a marvelous red beard, revealing his Viking roots. HARD BOILED EGG RECIPE Like this: Crack the shell all over. Find the hollow end, and slip a teaspoon into it, working it just under the membrane. Slide the spoon up the side of the egg, and the shell will pop right off. Easy peasy! Here’s your printable (better than) hard boiled egg recipe! LOW CARB STREUSEL ORANGE MUFFIN RECIPE Instructions. Mix all muffin ingredients in a small ramekin or mug with a fork. Mix streusel ingredients in a small dish, cutting in the butter with a fork. ALMOND LOW CARB HUMMUS RECIPE Substitute ¼ tsp garlic salt (or ¼ tsp garlic powder and ¼ tsp salt) for clove garlic and liquid aminos/soy sauce. Label and store packages in the pantry for easy prep later. To prepare, simply add contents of packet to blender and add: ½ cup water, ½ cup oil and juice of one lemon or ¼ cup lemon juice. Mix and serve. THM WEIGHT LOSS BEFORE & AFTER: ONE YEAR This THM weight loss before & after is probably the last one I’ll need to post, but I’m SO excited to post it. Last year this time, I was *just* getting my feet wet with the Trim Healthy Mama eating plan, and I remember on the brand new Facebook group, a lady asked, “Is there anyone here who has actually been on this diet for a year or more and sustained weight loss?”GWEN'S NEST

LOW CARB GERMAN PANCAKE RECIPE This low carb German Pancake recipe is the answer to my heart’s cry for the perfect sugar free breakfast. Back before I read Trim Healthy Mama, we would eat a version of this oven pancake nearly every week.It was heavenly.

HARD BOILED EGG RECIPE Like this: Crack the shell all over. Find the hollow end, and slip a teaspoon into it, working it just under the membrane. Slide the spoon up the side of the egg, and the shell will pop right off. Easy peasy! Here’s your printable (better than) hard boiled egg recipe! LOW CARB STREUSEL ORANGE MUFFIN RECIPE Instructions. Mix all muffin ingredients in a small ramekin or mug with a fork. Mix streusel ingredients in a small dish, cutting in the butter with a fork. Top muffin with streusel mix (use half of streusel mix for FP version to keep it lower fat) Microwave for 90 seconds or bake for 30 minutes or 15-18 minutes in 2-3 muffin tins in a *350oven.

Mix into the base recipeyou want it to be pretty sticky/goey. If it gets too dry, then add some additional pb/honey to the mix. Blend all ingredients in well, and dump it all into a 9×13 pan. Allow to steep for 5 minutes or more, to desired strength. Remove tea bags with a fork. Add sweetener. Divide concentrate into equal amounts in storage jars, and label. I've been fascinated with natural remedies for over 6 years. We've switched from being the "what would the Doctor say?" family to being much more capable of handling the minor bumps, stings, and illness here at home. We've been impressed with how effective natural remedies have been, as well as how much we've saved in co-pays! While there is a wide range of styles of herbalism and alternative care, I fall into the "easy and tastes good" camp. Because if it doesn't taste good, odds are no one here is going to use it. I'm not anti-medical, but I'm very strongly pro-patients rights, and pro-research when it comes to health care. I love to read and blog about the things I discover. And the youngest? We should have just named that kid the Viking.
