PROS AND CONS OF LIVING IN NEW ZEALAND And though there is a lot of sunshine to enjoy whilst living here, this brings with it a high risk of skin cancer. Unfortunately, New Zealand is right under a hole in the ozone layer, making the risk of sunburn and melanoma extremely high.
