OUR STORY - HISTORY & DEVELOPMENT - GARDENS BY THE BAY Gardens by the Bay broke ground in November 2007, signalling the commencement of the Gardens’ development. Subsequently, development of Bay East Garden also commenced. It was developed as an interim garden to be used as a staging site for some of the rowing and canoeing events of the Youth Olympic Games (YOG) in August 2010. DALE CHIHULY: GLASS IN BLOOM You can enter and exit the outdoor gardens from any of the 3 entrances, depending on your mode of transport. However, please note that re-entry is not allowed. Make use of our Wayfinder to help you navigate around the Gardens when you’re here!. Dale Chihuly: Glass in Bloom Shuttle Service. Applicable for Dale Chihuly: Glass in Bloom exhibition ticket holders only. FAR EAST ORGANIZATION CHILDREN'S GARDEN PEAK HOURS Due to capacity limitations and to ensure sufficient space for safe distancing, each child cannot be accompanied by more than 1 adult in Children's Garden during weekends, public and school holidays. Please also note that peak hours during these days are from 10.00am - 12.00pm, and 4.00pm - 6.00pm. We seek your kind understanding and apologise for any inconvenience caused. STRICTER SOCIAL DISTANCING MEASURES IN PLACE With stricter social distancing measures in place, visitors are reminded to wear a mask at all times, including during photo taking, and to keep a safe distance between each other, especially in queues.
