PICNIC & OUTDOOR EVENT PERMITS The permits counter at the Forest Preserves General Headquarters is open on Mondays and Wednesdays, from 9 am – 3 pm. BICYCLING - FOREST PRESERVES OF COOK COUNTY Allowing some low-speed, safely operated e-bikes in the Forest Preserves helps make our trails accessible to a larger group of visitors.
