Rainbow Rice. Forget cars, trains, and fire engines, I’ve found the latest craft idea that will keep my 2 year old entertained for, well, minutes but he’s 2! That is a solid “I’m-so-entertained-for-a-2 year-old” goal! Over the last few months, I have purchased some uncooked rice and pasta and put them into separate bins. NO BAKE APPLE DONUTS Instructions. Cut small circles out in the middle of each apple slice. Soak the apple rings into the water and lemon juice mixture for 5-10 minutes. Pat dry completely. Mix together the peanut butter and cocoa powder until smooth and well combined. Slather BUCKWHEAT NOODLES (GLUTEN FREE) Instructions. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, arrowroot, and salt until well-combined. Add the thickened psyllium powder mix, oil, and start with the first 6 Tbsp. of water. Mix with a wooden spoon until a nice dough forms. You are looking for slightly moist butnot sticky at all.
VEGAN FISH STICKS
To bake: Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Place breaded sticks on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for 20+ minutes or until sides are nicely browned. Serve with store-bought tarter sauce or to make homemade: Per 1/4 c. vegan mayo, add 1 tablespoon relish. Eatimmediately.

I started creating my own blend almost a year ago and have been more pleased with my baking outcomes than a pre-bought blend. CAULIFLOWER PARMESAN Instructions. Preaheat oven to 450 degrees. In a shallow dish combine the flour coating ingredients. In another shallow dish, whisk together the ingredients for the bread crumbs. Dip each cauliflower cutlet gently into the flour coating first and then into the bread crumbs until completely coated. Be gentle when moving the cauliflower. GLUTEN FREE VEGAN YELLOW CAKE Instructions. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees. Grease 2 8″ round cake pans. Whisk together the dry ingredients. Add the wet ingredients just until a nice batter evolves. Depending on the flour blend, your batter may vary. Mine was a little on the thicker side. Evenly divide into both cake pans. . Place in a medium bowl and add the cocoa powder, powdered sugar and tapioca starch. Mix until well-combined and can form into a ball. Mix together the peanut butter and cocoa powder until smooth and well combined. Slather BUCKWHEAT NOODLES (GLUTEN FREE) Instructions. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, arrowroot, and salt until well-combined. Add the thickened psyllium powder mix, oil, and start with the first 6 Tbsp. of water. Mix with a wooden spoon until a nice dough forms. You are looking for slightly moist butnot sticky at all.
HEALTHY GUMMY FRUIT SNACKS Instructions. Blend together the fruit, apple juice or water, and 1 Tbsp. of maple syrup (if using apple juice) or 2-3 Tbsp. if using water, together until smooth. Place into a saucepan and bring to a boil. Stir in the agar powder and reduce to a simmer for 2 minutes. The agar should be completely dissolved by now. GUIDE TO GLUTEN-FREE FLOURS Here is my gluten-free flour blend. As you can see, I prefer to use a ratio of 2:1 whole grain flour per starch. That means for every 1 cup of medium or heavy based flour, I use ½ c. of a starch. This particular blend is a great substitute in recipes that require regular flour, giving it a very nice texture, flavor, and color to all bakedVEGAN FISH STICKS
To bake: Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Place breaded sticks on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for 20+ minutes or until sides are nicely browned. Serve with store-bought tarter sauce or to make homemade: Per 1/4 c. vegan mayo, add 1 tablespoon relish. Eatimmediately.
CAULIFLOWER PARMESAN Instructions. Preaheat oven to 450 degrees. In a shallow dish combine the flour coating ingredients. In another shallow dish, whisk together the ingredients for the bread crumbs. Dip each cauliflower cutlet gently into the flour coating first and then into the bread crumbs until completely coated. Be gentle when moving the cauliflower. Preheat your oven to 325 degrees. In a small bowl, combine all the seeds and cinnamon together. Drizzle the maple syrup and stir with a spoon until well-combined. Pour over a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake for 12-13 minutes (halfway throughout mix around with a spoon). THE BEST GLUTEN-FREE FLOUR BLEND Creating your very own all-purpose flour blend makes baking an easier and less expensive task in your gluten-free kitchen. I started creating my own blend almost a year ago and have been more pleased with my baking outcomes than a pre-bought blend.RAINBOW RICE
Instructions. Place 1 c. of rice into each baggie. Mix 1/2 tsp. of water + 15-20 drops of food coloring per color. Place into the baggie, zip up completely and then shake the heck out of it until the color has spread evenly. You might need to add another 1/4 tsp of water along with a couple more drops of coloring if it doesn’t coat itperfectly.
HOMEMADE OATMEAL BREAKFAST BARS Grease an 8”x8” pan. Mash the ripe bananas with the back of a fork until completely smooth. Place 1 cup of oats along with the remainder of the ingredients into a food processor. Pulse several times. Mix in remainder of oats with a spoon. Stir in the oat mix with the mashed bananas until completely coated. VEGAN WHITE CHOCOLATE MOUSSE In a large bowl carefully remove the contents from the can with a spoon, leaving out the liquid on the bottom (there shouldn’t be a lot with coconut cream). With an electric mixer, begin to whip up on medium speed. Add the remainder of the ingredients and VEGAN CINNAMON CASHEW MILK FLAN Instructions. In a high-speed blender, mix the cashews and water until completely smooth. Place the cashew milk into a medium saucepan and whisk in the agar flakes and sugar. Bring to a boil on medium heat. Allow the sugar and agar to completely dissolve and boil lightly on simmer for 5 minutes. Whisk in the nutritional yeast, cinnamon, andnutmeg.
VEGAN BUTTER SUBSTITUTE Instructions. Place all the ingredients in a blender and process at medium speed for about 1 minute. Pour into container of choice–something made of silicone is great, as it will pop out easily, but any storage container will do (line it with wax paper first for easy removal). RAW GARDEN HERB SPREADABLE "CHEESE" 1 garlic clove, peeled. juice of 1/2 lemon. 1/2 tsp raw apple cider vinegar. 1/2-1 tsp salt (depending on taste preference) DIRECTIONS. In a high-speed blender, combine cashews, water, lemon juice, and vinegar until smooth. Add coconut oil and blend. Add herbs and salt and pulse briefly. Refrigerate for several hours or until set.TOFU SCRAMBLED EGGS
Add tofu and spices together. Using a spatula, cut up the tofu in the pan to look like scrambled eggs. Once incorporated, add the vegetable broth (1 tablespoon at a time) bringing the broth to a boil and allowing to fully absorb into the tofu each time. Remove from heat and season with sea salt and pepper as desired.
