The FIUTS Pen Pal program is a quarterly letter exchange between UW international students and local elementary school students. Pen Pals send and receive 4 letters to each other over a period of 8 weeks. At the end of the program, pen pals get to meet at a special virtual celebration! This is an informal group with different topics discussed every week. Dear friend of FIUTS, The important community measures we’ve taken to prevent the spread of COVID-19 are affecting all of us. Our thoughts and hearts are with everyone in our community at these anxious times. Like small businesses everywhere, FIUTS is significantly impacted. Loss of programs and earned income, combined with uncertainty about the future, put our organization at risk. We are committed to maintaining our team and serving our student constituents during and beyond this crisis. To this end, we’re taking the following actions:*
