The catalyst was the Russian National Orchestra’s annual summer residency in Northern California, starting in 1999. Festival Napa Valley presents Songs of Gratitude in response to a year of unimaginable hardship for our community and our planet. Songs of Gratitude showcases the beauty and strength of Napa Valley and the ability of music to fill our hearts with hope and the promise of the future. Filmed at iconic Napa Valley venues, Songs of Gratitude creates an opportunity for the community to come THE FOUR SEASONS OF NAPA VALLEY Napa Valley’s oldest winery, Charles Krug has been owned and operated by the Peter Mondavi, Sr. family for four generations. The winery’s award winning newly restored Redwood Cellar Tasting Room and Hospitality Center is a warm, inviting space blending heritage with contemporary design. PUCCINI'S GIANNI SCHICCHI Star baritone Lucas Meachem returns to Festival Napa Valley to perform the title role in Puccini's Gianni Schicchi, widely considered to be one of the funniest operas of all time. Maestro Kent Nagano makes his Festival debut and leads Meachem, a cast of singers from the Manetti Shrem Opera Program, and Festival Orchestra Napa in this comic farce featuring some of Puccini's best music PATRON DINNER AT HALL NAPA VALLEY Patron Dinner at HALL Napa Valley. Driving down Highway 29, you might recognize a 35-foot-tall stainless steel bunny leaping up from a vineyard. The sculpture, “Bunny Foo Foo,” is one of many innovative works at HALL St. Helena, a gorgeous, art-filled estate that combines the best of the past and the future. DANCE GALA: ROBERTO BOLLE AND FRIENDS Ballet superstar Roberto Bolle brings his celebrated show, Roberto Bolle and Friends, to Napa for the annual Dance Gala, an event that invariably ranks among the year's Festival highlights. FESTIVAL NAPA VALLEY BLACKBURN MUSIC ACADEMY ORCHESTRA Musicians from over one hundred different schools and conservatories, from four dozen states and seven countries, competed for entry to the Blackburn Music Academy.
