MAKING CONVERSATION AND CONNECTIONS FOR MORE THAN 60 YEARS UPDATE: EMERGING FROM THE LOCKDOWN, LUNCH AT FCCT ------------------------- The FCCT welcomes the government’s decision to partially lift Thailand’s national lockdown, and with respect for social distancing and hygiene measures, will reopen from Thursday May 7, Monday to Friday (except public holidays). Meals from just 190 baht will be served from 11:30am to 5pm, with a limited but diverse menu featuring the FCCT’s signature curries, fish’n’chips and our popular vegan burger. Due to extension of the 10pm-4am curfew and the ban on onsite sales of alcohol at restaurants until May 31, we will operate during daylight hours only, until business can return to normal. Please drop in any time before 6pm for a socially-distanced, delicious and modestly priced meal. We will also continue with our special editions of the FCCT Bulletin, featuring news briefings and updates on coronavirus relief efforts, social issues, restaurants and urban life, as well as interviews with a diverse range of people. We hope you enjoy it. We once again extend our deepest gratitude to all who so kindly contributed relief funding to the FCCT during our shutdown. We are glad to report that your contributions have nearly covered our large overheads in this period. Many of our kind donors have been anonymous, and we ask again whether, even if you do not wish to be publicly honoured, you could identify yourself to us so we can at least thank you privately; please email info@fccthai.com. Even if you cannot donate, we are extremely grateful for your support, and sincerely hope you will drop into the club in the coming weeks. FCCT Executive Committee Click here for this week's bulletin (May 6) Anyone can register to receive The Bulletin free of charge, just email info@fccthai.com and put “Bulletin registration” in the subject line.
