Peanut Butter Sweet Minglers (A.K.A. Puppy Chow or Muddy Buddies) In Breakfast, Chocolate, Christmas Baking, Desserts, Holidays, Kid Food, Peanut Butter On March 27, 2014. Puppy chow, Muddy Buddies, or whatever you want to call this quintessential Christmas treat (that I’m making in spring, because I’m strange like that), is a highlyWILD RICE SALAD
1 teaspoon sugar. 1/3 cup olive oil. 1/2 tsp ground pepper. Directions. Combine 4 cups of water and 1 teaspoon of salt in a saucepan and bring to a boil. Add the rice. Reduce the heat to medium-low, cover and simmer until the rice is tender, about 45 minutes. Drain well and cool. *Wild rice takes longer to cook then ‘normal’ rice which is CONDENSED MILK COCONUT POUND CAKE In the bowl of a stand mixer or hand mixer, cream butter sugar until light and fluffy, about 2 minutes. Add sweetened condensed milk and mix for only a few seconds. Add in the dry ingredients, mixing just until the flour is mixed in (don’t over mix). Add eggs, one at a time. Add the extracts and shredded coconut. CLASSIC ALMOND BISCOTTI Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silpat mat. Sift flour, baking powder and salt into medium bowl. In a large bowl mix the sugar, melted butter, eggs, vanilla extract, and almond extract. Add the flour mixture to the egg mixture and stir with a wooden spoon until it’s well combined.MINI PEAR TARTS
Wrap in plastic and refrigerate for at least 1 hour. *Or put it in the freezer for about 20 minutes. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F. Spray your mason jar lids with nonstick spray. Pull clumps of dough (about 2 tbsp for each mini tart) from the large dough ball and smoosh theminto each lid.

In another bowl, whisk the herbs, olive oil, lemon juice, vinegar, honey, salt, and pepper. Drizzle the dressing over the corn and asparagus. Mix together and chill until ready to serve. CHOCOLATE CHIP CHEESECAKE 3/4 cup chocolate chips (milk chocolate or semi sweet) Directions. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. To make the crust, combine the graham crackers and melted butter in a bowl until moistened. Pour into a 9-inch springform pan. With your hands, press the crumbs into the bottom of the pan and about 1-inch up the sides. BAKED SPICED CHICKPEAS Directions. Preheat the oven to 425 degrees. Drain and wash the chickpeas. Place the clean chickpeas on a layer of paper towels and gently rub the tops of them with another paper towels. Some of the skins will peel away. *You can trash them, or bake them for an extra crispy little treat. BAKED FRENCH TOAST (OR IS IT BREAD PUDDING?) Instructions. Spray a 9 x 13-inch baking pan with non-stick spray. Tear the bread into chunks and place in the pan. *The pieces don’t need to be uniform, just tear and toss into the pan.
