FAMILY LIVESSEE MORE ON FAMILYLIVES.ORG.UK INTRODUCING A NEW BABY TO SIBLINGS It can be difficult for older children to accept a new addition to the family. They can feel left out at the arrival of this demanding bundle that takes up mum and dad’s attention round the clock. FINDING SUPPORT DURING DIVORCE/SEPARATION When you’re going through divorce and separation it can be really hard to find support from others who know what you’re going through. It can be an extremely isolating time and sometimes it is nice to know that there are others who know how you are feeling and can understand how difficult it is. DEALING WITH AGGRESSIVE BEHAVIOUR IN TODDLERS Why do they do it? Young children explore their environment by putting things into their mouths, and by touch, so biting and pinching can be an extension of that, explains Dr Mandy Bryon, Consultant Clinical Psychologist at Great Ormond Street Hospital. FAMILY COACHING SERVICE EALING Family Coaching is for identified families in Ealing for support to parent their children when they face complex needs and challenges. These include domestic abuse, mental health, conflict management, relationship support, special needs, and isolation. THE ENERGISE FAMILIES PROJECT IN EALING If you need to talk, we're here to listen. Call us on 0808 800 2222 or contact askus@familylives.org.uk for support. MAKING AN APPEAL FOR A SCHOOL PLACE Mysie Weir (not her real name) has been volunteering with school admissions appeal panels for 10 years, regularly as Chairman. Like all serving panel members, she undergoes training at least once a year. PARENTING AND FAMILY SUPPORT Parenting and family support from Family Lives (formerly Parentline Plus) through our website, helpline 0808 800 2222, email service at askus@familylives.org.uk, live chat and local services.
