Projects for 16 years and over. Young people will have the opportunity to engage first hand with mentors from industry and solve a real life challenges faced by industry. Our projects take place throughout the academic year and are led by industry experts to help young people develop important life skills and gain a better understanding of STEM.BRONZE FRAMEWORK
Skills and competency framework. Young people graduating at the Bronze Level will follow a programme defined by the activities breakdown over a minimum of 20 hours. The programme components and skills and competency framework illustrate the employability skills and personal learning and thinking skills acquired by each individual Cadet at this EDT INSIGHT INTO UNIVERSITY (HEADSTART & INSPIRE) Insight into University (previously known as Headstart & Inspire) is a comprehensive on-line course allowing students to experience STEM studies at university and the career opportunities that these subjects lead to. It will provide access to information on university and student life, STEM projects and activities set by leading UKuniversities
ROUTES INTO STEM
The virtual Routes into STEM course allows students aged 13+ (S3 & S4) to recognise the variety of opportunities available to them after taking their GCSEs or Nat 5 and Highers, it will provide them access to key information on different pathways; college, university and STEM career. Diverse live interactive sessions will take place during half PLACEMENTS (AGE 17 & OVER) We help place students aged 17+ in Year 13 or S5/S6 (Scottish equivalent) or undergraduate students in top UK companies and organisations every year, including, Rolls-Royce, EDF, Network Rail, Scottish Power and P&G. Typically, the programme lasts between 10-12 months and is a paid placement.INDUSTRIAL CADETS

Skills and competency framework. Young people graduating at the Bronze Level will follow a programme defined by the activities breakdown over a minimum of 20 hours. The programme components and skills and competency framework illustrate the employability skills and personal learning and thinking skills acquired by each individual Cadet at this EDT INSIGHT INTO UNIVERSITY (HEADSTART & INSPIRE) Insight into University (previously known as Headstart & Inspire) is a comprehensive on-line course allowing students to experience STEM studies at university and the career opportunities that these subjects lead to. It will provide access to information on university and student life, STEM projects and activities set by leading UKuniversities
PLACEMENTS (AGE 17 & OVER) We help place students aged 17+ in Year 13 or S5/S6 (Scottish equivalent) or undergraduate students in top UK companies and organisations every year, including, Rolls-Royce, EDF, Network Rail, Scottish Power and P&G. Typically, the programme lasts between 10-12 months and is a paid placement.ROUTES INTO STEM
The virtual Routes into STEM course allows students aged 13+ (Yr 9 & 10 and S3 & S4) to recognise the variety of opportunities available to them after taking their GCSEs or Nat 5 and Highers, it will provide them access to key information on different pathways; college, university and STEM career.INDUSTRIAL CADETS
