CONFIGURATION FILE
Configuration file. Essentials ships with a configuration file (config.yml) that is generated on first run of the server after Essentials is installed. Below is an explanation of specific settings within that config file. You can view the default configuration filehere . denotes the
BACKUP - ESSENTIALS
Create a shell file: nano backup.sh. Copy and paste the code below. Replace (world nether) with a list of worlds separated by spaces. The example below will backup 'world' and 'nether'. Save the file. Change the file permission to make it executable: chmod +x backup.sh. Edit the line in your config.yml in the essentials plugin folder to the COMMAND REFERENCE/SPAWNING There is a lot of control available when it comes to spawning items. There is the basic access to the commands, there is access to spawn blacklisted items, and also access to only spawn specific items if permission-based-item-spawn is true on the essentials config. These permissions can be given to a user directly, or to the group a userbelongs.
BREAKDOWN - ESSENTIALS EssentialsAntiBuild is a build permissions system, this permission allows you to restrict who can build, or who can place/break what blocks. Useful for preventing players from placing lava, for example. EssentialsProtect is a basic world protection system, this module allows you to configure basic rules for the server to abide by, suchas
