Temporary Roof Project in Wookey, Somerset A really challenging project as the structure was right in the middle of open countryside with wind really rolling in off the hills. You will notice as well, the front of the structure had to remain open to allow on going access for the client. This made the roof very tricky as we could not close off all four sides to block the wind. In the end, we had to install in the very early hours of the morning whilst the wind was so low it did not effect us. We say it every time, each job has it's own unique challenges and this one was no different! The customer was extremely happy with the end result, giving them plenty of natural light for their display underneath.

Shrink Wrap Roof Somerset The roof was fully handrailed and boarded allowing safe access for our operatives. We also hired out the scissor lift you can see in this picture, which really helped us out getting the equipment into place and the secure/weld the front. Usually the side sheeting attached straight on the roof, but given the location and potential for consistent high winds, we made the choice to do them both seperately to their own ledgers. This means that should the side sheeting suffer any damage, the roof sheeting will not be affected as it is completely seperate. Overall, this will increase the life span of both the side and roof sheeting!
