You’re at the starting line of what we hope is one of the most rewarding periods of personal and professional growth in your life, to date. (We kinda envy you, honestly. It’s an awesome time.) Between acceptance and starting the bootcamp, you get to dive into the program experience. We’ll introduce you to your new peers you’ll be completing the bootcamp with. STEP 3: THE BOOTCAMP MODULESMONTHS 1-3
The bootcamp is your chance to prove yourself (almost like an ongoing audition) – you’ll create content and projects to showcase your skills alongside your peers, attend workshops and one-on-one advising sessions, and get to explore different role types. But it’s not a walk in the park. We cannot stress this enough – the bootcamp will challenge you, regardless of your skill and experience level at the start. So don’t take it lightly. By the time you complete the bootcamp, you’ll have a strong professional portfolio full of projects. You’ll understand what it takes to succeed as a future startup employee. And, you’ll have developed a strong support group through your peers, program advisors, Praxis alumni, and experienced professionals you meet through weeklyworkshops.
STEP 4: THE PLACEMENT EXPERIENCEMONTHS 4-6
During the placement experience, you’ll be introduced to a number of different companies and be given the chance to pitch yourself to join their teams. Our placement team will work closely alongside you through this process to help you determine which opportunities are the best fit for you and how to pitch them. During this phase, you’ll be racking up interviews, exploring companies, and putting what you created through the bootcamp on display. By the time you win a job offer that excites you, our aim is for you to understand exactly what it takes to navigate the job market successfully. Not only do we want to help you win your first career opportunity, but for you to walk away feeling confident and prepared to navigate your career. STEP 5: SUCCEEDING IN YOUR NEW JOB 3 MONTHS (POST-PROGRAM) By this stage, you’ll have earned and accepted a job offer. We want to set you up for long-term success. So, throughout your first 90 days in your new job, our team will be here to support you as you make this transition. Whether that means helping you negotiate an offer, guidance through relocation, one-on-one and group coaching sessions, or even preparing a plan for your first 30-60-90 days on the job – our team will be with you every step of the way to help you start strong from day one. STEP 6: GROW WITH USLIFETIME ACCESS
Your journey with Praxis does not end when you get a job. In fact, your professional journey has only just begun. As an alumni, you’ll have lifetime access to our private professional community, our resources, Praxis workshops and events, plus all special offers available to bootcamp participants.
